Haven't seen gran in a while, I'm hoping she's all right.

Gran, if you're out there, hope you're doing well in your northern retreat.

Tsk ... tsk. I suppose that is the best you can do, "big" blue's major accomplishment of late being whining for a do-over for a proposed BCS Championship between two defenseless teams.

But you have my deepest sympathy. While I used to think that your delusions were symptoms of an illness unique to yourself, I now am convinced that the entire rust state is suffering from similar fantasies. As the article mentions, even your junior senator believes that "Global warming creates volatility. I feel it when I'm flying. The storms are more volatile. We are paying the price in more hurricanes and tornadoes."

You two should get together sometime and discuss other "truths" known only to citizens of the frozen state. It might prove to be good therapy ...

You are so funny.

Can't get over your conference can't beat us can you? 11/2 baby.

Can't get over that our "inept" team thumped Floriduh either. Why, you said we would get beat by over 35 points........the shame, the shame you must have felt.......

It's okay, just go console yourself with the bluehairs. Maybe one of them is an ex shrink. You can unburden yourself there.......

:-)

She’s likely getting the same amount of rain I am.
And likely having the same garden troubles.

Should you run into Debbie* at the shrink's office, be sure to share with her your frequent hallucinations. You can bring up great Michigan football teams that never were and pretend that it is real and relevant and she can convince you that when flying she can feel how global warming is making the air more turbulent. Come to think of it, maybe global warming is the cause of Michigan's mediocrity. Just a thought ....

*not to be confused with "Little Debbie," the snack cake maker

Slugs, mold, NEIGHBORS, mailmen, meter readers, and various similar diseases.
Wouldn’t be gators, but polar bear instead.
Armored rocket polar bear, with laser beam eyes, and chainsaw hands.

The “eye” such as it was passed by within about 2 miles last hour. Some gusty wind, a little rain and not much else ... unless you count the bluster generated by the weather folks who are always hoping for a catastrophe. I expect we will get some more rain but not much else.

The blue hairs are all further south beyond Disney World. Here we have an abundance of youthful bikini clad lovelies. Sadly, I arrived about 50 years too late.

I'm surprised to learn that you admit to Michigan's lack of youthful and lovely ladies. It is probably due to the fact that all the young and beautiful who survive the drive by shootings and death by rust or frostbite flee to warmer, friendlier places. While I'm not familiar with "leatherettes," there being nothing like that around here, I'd guess that your "leatherettes" are either very old or very bundled up against Michigan's arctic temperatures.

Nice try pup.

I've visited the whole state of Floriduh, and quite frankly.......

You can have it. You and the leatherettes......aka pup's "beach bunnies" jumbled in the asylum along with the early bird specials........

Thank you for proving the obvious. Almost everyone--even you--either visits Florida or comes here to live. Michigan, on the other hand, is visited only by criminals and blizzards. And those who choose to live there are very few indeed.

Yeah, keep yacking. I looked, I saw, it's just one empty, run down neighborhood after another now. It's sooo ugly down there, sooo flat, soooo boring, most people live there only because they're too old to move.

the asylum works........we need all of you there...........

A perfect description of everything Michigan. Having visited the drive by state and seen its authentic war zone look, I can understand why you stay. It would probably be suicidal to make a run for the Ohio or Indiana border ... and attempting to swim to freedom through the glowing waters of Erie or Michigan would probably result in your growing a few extra ears or a new foot sprouting out of your elbow.

Better just stay put and hope that the next blizzard (probably in a week or two) makes it safe for you to travel.
