I mean , the pyramid with eye is clearly a masonic symbol , which is predated in its use by the Egyptians as the all seeing eye of Ra, memorialized by a golden cap since removed, on top of the pyramids at Giza, which would refelect the sun. Thus the depiction of a radiant eye on the dollar, coming into US culture through the fraternal order of freemasons, whose culture esconced the entire liberty movement in 1776, and provided secrecy in its structire for the "Sons of Liberty."
Now all that background is UNTRUE? What a laugh these liberal iconoclasts are.

I suggest you read Jasper Ridley’s “The Freemasons: A History of the World’s Most Powerful Secret Society”, New York, 2001.
Ridley is not a Freemason, but he’s a researcher and writer and has researched the Calvi/P2 controversy and came up with the same conclusion that Discovery Channel recently did in their production on the History of Freemasons — that the P2 controversy and the connection to Freemasonry is certainly fiction. An attempt by anti-masons to cause controversey for masons.
In answer to your second question, yes the P2 lodge was under the jurisdiction of the Grand Orient Lodge of Italy, just as all regular Italian lodges would be... they have since been expelled however.
