A Granby High School teacher accused of sending improper photos of herself to students via cell phone has been arrested.
Natasha L. Sizow, 24, of Alton Drive in Virginia Beach, was charged with two counts each of indecent liberties and use of a communications device to facilitate crimes against children, according to police and court records. She turned herself in Tuesday night, said Officer Chris Amos, police spokesman.
Schools spokesman Vincent Rhodes said Sizow was a first-year social studies teacher and the girls’ swimming coach at Granby. She was accused of sending photos of herself “in various stages of undress,” said Sgt. Jim Robertson, a police spokesman. The students involved were a male and a female, both age 17, according to Amanda Howie of the commonwealth’s attorney’s office.
The case came to light two weeks ago, when police sought a warrant to search Sizow’s cell phone for electronic data. A detective’s affidavit said that a school resource officer learned about the allegations and reported them.
Sizow initially was put on paid leave. As a result of the charges, that was being changed to leave without pay, Rhodes said Wednesday.
Sizow was released on $5,000 bond, said Maj. Michael O’Toole of the sheriff’s department. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 2, Howie said.

Where the heck were these female teachers when I was going through puberty and in school?
They are perverted predators. That is why they are preying upon the young. That’s why they need to be locked up.
Part of what is wrecking our society is the expectation that young males be nothing more than studs. The fact that we consider less of a crime when a female teacher seduces her students than if a male teacher seduces a female student indicates the depth of this problem.
Boys need a good, healthy track to follow to become good men.

No. Your Dad never called me back and I'm pretty upset. Some crap about how his parole officer told him to only hang out with crack whores and degenerates and stay 90 feet away from me.

Teaching kindergarten through 5th grade, at least where I went to school. The young ones seemed to alsway start their career in elementary school, then move up as they got older. My 2nd grade teacher also taught me in 8th grade.
The problem is political correctness and the abolition of any notion of in locis parentis have made teaching in American public schools a massive exercise in frustration, particularly in urban settings where there is not underlying community support for the schools because there is little sense of community.
Teachers tend to burn out. Hence lots of new teachers replacing the experienced ones.

Just a little update......
Heard at Wal-Mart yesterday, and on the local news this morning,
She was the school’s swim team coach, and the boys were members of the team.
Thanks for the update. Good thing she sent those photos; otherwise, she might not have been caught until she caused more damage.
Most of them believe there was no crime.
That means you think she looks 35. I can tell you I'm 35 and I don't look that old! LOL!
