My raised gardens are about 2 feet deep and I chunked up the diapers and dug them into the soil. They may be 8 to 9 inches maybe a bit deeper, from the top. In the hanging pots, I just cut the diaper to fit the the cocoa liner. I even use astro turf with the wire pots and put the diaper against that then the soil and flowers and strawberries. This is the first time I’ve done it but I’ve heard it works.

I don’t buy my chickens that do not lay brown eggs as I feel they have the best taste
:::::
So, some chickens lay white eggs and some lay brown?

I did not know that.

Yep, sure do and I also do not get any chickens that lays white eggs, the brown one, as a whole, are much larger than the white.

I have been spending my afternoon playing my disc of music of the 50’s, sure brings back memories for sure.

Well, since asparagus is my very favorite veggie, as far as I’m concerned, they can just keep screaming because I’m going to keep eating. Yummy stuff!!!

Brown eggs, white eggs, I’ve seen pale green eggs and speckled eggs in the henhouse.

Mine too, I love them raw, cooked, baked and even canned. Greenies....I wonder what they eat? Potatoes have eyes, do you think they watch us peel them and cut them up. Do they cry, scream silently, groan???

Here’s a web site for music - a friend sent it to me. It’s very kewl.

My friend has been in the music industry “forever.” He was a behind-the-scenes guy. He recently retired. His daddy used to manage Molly Bee and Tennessee Ernie Ford. And had his own TV show as well.

My friend also worked a lot with Kenny Rogers. He (not Kenny) was in the recording studio when The Monster Mash was being recorded, and it’s him you hear on the end of the song, with the ghoulish laugh.... :)

I think this is a very nice site.

Yes. Temps in the 70's today and tomorrow before more rain and cool temps set in.

I got several things moved yesterday before we went to the b'day party.

I have another day of moving stuff, but I think I'll wait until tomorrow, just before the cool temps and rain.

What I really need to do is get some Roundup sprayed, but it's been too windy. Daylight is just dawning here now. I'm going to go out and see what the blasted rabbit ate overnite. And if there is no breeze, I'll start spraying.

Good morning!

Glad you 've got some good weather, IG.

I worked outside for about an hour yesterday p.m. One bed in now mostly cleared.

What a wonderful site, SnarlinCubBear! I’ve added it to my favorites list and look forward to even more future listening pleasure. This morning, I’ve particularly enjoyed listening to the Show Tunes. Thanks so much for that link!
