CBS and ABC know she is for real. If you injected truth syrum into them, they would tell you that Sarah Palin is way more talented than they ever dreamed she would be.

She holds her own and won’t be backed into saying what the lib media hacks want to trap her into saying...

Not that I agree with campaign finance reform as implemented in McCain-Feingold, but that would have worked as a response to the Perky One’s thrice-repeated question about when McCain ever advocated increasing regulation.

Sarah should have asked Kati what her portfolio looks like these days. And, if she’d enjoy parting with a big chunk of her fat salary to fund Telepromter Boy’s redistribution of income schemes. And why she hates the country that put her no-talent bumpkin butt into a nationl news slot.

Kati looked angry. She tried to pin the crisis on McCain.

I give Kati’s performance two Courics out of five.

Actually, this would have been better (if she referred to this regulation that Obama and 100% of the Dems voted against):

John McCain, May 25, 2006, Senate debate on Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act Of 2005: ‘I j... Read Moreoin as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole.’

Now that she’s talked to two libs, when does she get to go on Rush or Hannity?

Couric didn’t even manage to smile at Sarah once.

Couric looked like a mean b*tch the entire time. I’m sure Achmedinajad would have gotten a friendlier reception.

We have to get past the mainstream media. If only there were another way to reach the apolitical Americans.

I’m not very happy with it. Not because of Sarah Palin, but because the campaign apparently hasn’t bothered to inform her about John McCain’s pertinent legislative history.

What about the attempt in what, 2005? to reform Fannie May, for instance?

LOL. Couric really had puckered lips during that interview. Why is it that some older woman get puckered lips like that. I mean all those wrinkles that some woman get around their lips. Is it the constant habit of being resentful or jealous of other woman? And then they hold their lips in this puckered position, and the wrinkles become permanent. At any rate Couric was really looked nasty.

Remember that old poster from the seventies of the two vultues lurking on a branch looking at a potential meal?

One asys to the other, “Patience my a$$, I’m gonna kill something”. Don’t fall for a scenario that will take you off your natural course.

We know Obama cannot, off the cuff, debate a six year old and the McCain team knows that. Now take that and look at what the team is doing to Obama and the media. Each will be so eager to trumpet the talking points when the defted question comes from left field, or the point you want is made in a public forum where the media cannot run interference or prep Obama for an answer.

Then the comedy of uhs erupts because it is not part of the script for everyone to see unvarnished. Team McCain cannot win an arguement where the media gets to filter it so do like Ronaldus Maximus and go around and over them straight to the people. The debates are the perfect forum to beat them at their own game.

AND, how about saying that the call 2 years ago, for oversight of Fannie and Freddy, was proof that McCain understands that one must be ready to adjust their thinking as the situation warrents it.

I wasn’t thrilled with her performance.

I am with you. Not happy. She should have better preparation. She needs more staff. She can handle things, if she is informed. They need better staff. I hope some people here on FR volunteer to help her win this election.
