I am skeptical but I have a)been hypnotized by choice and b) met someone who had Obama’s irrational power over public opinion whom I would later believe to have been using hypnotic techniques that at times influenced me and I would have to work to ‘think through’ as I have never done since with any speaker.
In my opinion, the article gets interesting at page 17. It hi-lights something I have always found very strange and stylized about Obama’s speech and it seems to match the articles description of the hypnotic technique of ‘pacing’ (making focused statements that are undeniably true in order to frame false statements effectively. Sort of the way the lie dector technician asks you to confirm true statemetns like your name and age etc.)
Here’s an excerpt:
Three of Obama’s favorite hypnotic paces are “that’s why I stand here tonight”, “now is the time”, and “this
moment.” Just these three pacing statements are used by Obama a total of fourteen (14) times throughout
this single speech.
In this speech, Obama essentially said “as I stand before you tonight” three separate times, around the
beginning, middle, and end of the speech to continue pacing the audience throughout, as follows:
AN EXAMINATION OF OBAMA’S USE OF HIDDEN HYPNOSIS TECHNIQUES IN HIS SPEECHES
EXPOSING OBAMA’S DECEPTION MAY BE THE ONLY WAY TO PROTECT DEMOCRACY 17
1. That’s why I stand here tonight. Because for two hundred and thirty two years, at each moment
when that promise was in jeopardy, ordinary men and women - students and soldiers, farmers and
teachers, nurses and janitors — found the courage to keep it alive.
2. The fundamentals we use to measure economic strength are whether we are living up to that
fundamental promise that has made this country great - a promise that is the only reason I am
standing here tonight.
3. But I stand before you tonight because all across America something is stirring. What the naysayers
don’t understand is that this election has never been about me. It’s been about you.
In the same speech, Obama says “now is the time” six times throughout. While he phrase is apparent, it
sounds to everyone like just his power-phrase or theme for the speech.
1. Now is the time to end this addiction, and to understand that drilling is a stop-gap measure, not a
long-term solution. Not even close.
2. Now is the time to finally meet our moral obligation to provide every child a world-class education,
because it will take nothing less to compete in the global economy.
3. Now is the time to finally keep the promise of affordable, accessible health care for every single
American.
4. Now is the time to help families with paid sick days and better family leave, because nobody in
America should have to choose between keeping their jobs and caring for a sick child or ailing
parent.
5. Now is the time to change our bankruptcy laws, so that your pensions are protected ahead of CEO
bonuses; and the time to protect Social Security for future generations.
6. And now is the time to keep the promise of equal pay for an equal day’s work, because I want my
daughters to have exactly the same opportunities as your sons.
It is no coincidence that he happens to use these phrases that are subconscious pacing statements because
they are immediately and verifiably true by their most simplistic terms, and cause the subconscious to
accept the hypnotist as a source for such absolute truth.
Obama also says essentially “this moment” five times, serving the same pacing purpose.
1. We meet at one of those defining moments - a moment when our nation is at war, our economy is in
turmoil, and the American promise has been threatened once more.
2. This moment - this election - is our chance to keep, in the 21st century, the American promise alive.
3. You have shown what history teaches us - that at defining moments like this one, the change we
need doesn’t come from Washington.
4. America, this is one of those moments.
5. At this moment, in this election, we must pledge once more to march into the future
Notice how for each instance without exception, he has words before or after “moment” to make it
absolutely immediately and verifiably true, such as “we meet at”, or “this election”, moments “like this
one”, or “this is one of those moments.” The notion that this is all also a coincidence is absurd. This is
carefully crafted hidden hypnotic pacing. And, this is only the beginning.
Obama put these 14 pacing hypnotic language patterns into his speech knowing them to be part of a
hypnotic trance induction. It is not “just the way he talks” nor “coincidence.”
It has been over thirty years since I listened to a college professor tell me about this technique. I have forgotten everything except that it is actually an effective technique under some circumstances.
Do any of you have anything that is more up todate?
I don’t know whether Obama is deliberately using hypnosis techniques or whether it just comes naturally to him, but I do know that I have never been able to listen to him speak for longer than 15-20 seconds. To me his style is very off-putting. Not merely boring, but actually repellant in a way I can’t explain. His face is pleasant enough, his voice is pleasantly deep, but I find myself lurching for the remote control, much the same way I used to do when Hillary suddenly appeared on TV or the radio.
STOP BASHING OBAMA! He is going to make a wonderful president and all you jerks here can do is continue tearing him down. He has a reasonable solution to every problem and is far better qualified than McCain. Everyone here needs to vote for Obama as he is going to be the best president we have ever had!

Nah, he doesn’t need any technique to talk to a bunch of dumbed down, money grabbin sheeple.

Well - thus far this is the only author who comes close to explaining to me the hysteria and worship of a no-accomplishments, conscience free narcisist and megalomaniac.
Much that has always struck me as truly odd is addressed in the article - the fake presidential seal, the ‘O’ logo, Obama’s statements that indicate he believes he is the messiah, the analysis of the his slow, oddly worded speeches - the bizaree adoption of this man as their savior, his ability to ‘order’ everyone to forget about Wright etc. All there. Which makes the conclusions of the document more sobering (horrifying, actually). IMHO Obama IS trying to employ mass hypnotic techniques. The question is how well they might be working.
JOe the plumber was unscripted - Obama theoretically cannot employ hypnotic techniques in unscripted venues - is THIS why he is having a harder time ordering us not to think about Joe anymore?
Really - if Obama were even partially capable of doing what he seems to be attempting with mass hypnosis - then we might as well be talking about Iran’s long awaited 12th Imam and the effect he can have on the future.
Thanks for posting this. I have spent time reading this and have bookmarked it. When I have read the entire thing I will write more on this. Yes, I think Obama is doing this. On another thread a few weeks ago I wrote that Obama has a strange pull, like a vampire. He even exerts this on Republicans, but most of us resist it because we know he is twisted via his beliefs in partial birth and other examples. I think as we are getting closer to the election the real Obama is showing more as he struggles to reach those not reached, he is not on his game as much. But what we are seeing is only a tiny, tiny, fraction of the real Obama. We really have no clue yet about the real identity of him. We can only speculate right now based on his associations with other radicals.
I have now read the entire document and I have followed a great many of the footnotes and references included in the PDF as well. Google was also my friend.

Although the author is more than a little passionate about what he thinks about Obama and his arrogant and deceitful use of these techniques, he goes on to back it up with known science and thorough analysis.
The techniques Obama is using are identified, explained and demonstrated. They are accepted by the experts in the field as especially powerful and effective among the young, but also among many who do a lot of reading. (think students, journalists, academicians...)
He shows why this is much more effective in long speeches than it is in debates, short conversations or town hall situations. (30 minute CBS final TV campaign time slot, anyone?)
The author makes a disturbingly solid case that Obama is not just a charismatic orator, not even just a dabbler in these methods, but a highly skilled and accomplished practitioner of the art of covert / conversational / Eriksonian hypnosis.
As the media guru Marshall McLuhan is reported to have said, “Only the small secrets need to be protected. The big ones are kept secret by public incredulity.”

I got this link from my subscription to ExposeObama.com. This one seems a bit outrageous and may hurt the credibility of the web site.
The evidence is clearer the farther this empty suit gets into his "presidency".
Compare the rhetoric in Obama's recent (as of this writing) speech in Cleveland with the examples given in the PDF. The teleprompter is still attempting to apply Ericksonian hypnosis techniques.
Hypnosis was working in 2008. It's not working in 2010. Have we developed immunity to Erickson hypnosis? Has one of Obama's controllers disappeared and the remainder don't know what they're working with?
Or is it that enough reality has set in that we are essentially immune to hypnosis because deep, deep down inside everyone knows he's lying now?
