As soon as anyone claims Palin isn’t qualified, state as an undeniable fact that she has more qualifications than Obama. Don’t let that stand for at all. Anytime it is mentioned or implied get right back to Obama’s lack of qualifications.

Sarah has an awesome track record of reform as Mayor and then as Governor. At a time when corruption is rampant, she is exactly what is needed.

Also, her lack of D.C. experience means quite simply that she is not experienced at screwing things up like so many career politicians have been doing.

Thought this was a good quote by Dr. Lynette Long that I read on another thread:

“Let’s get this straight. Sarah Palin is one of only fifty governors in the entire country. If Alaska was a country, it would be the twentieth largest country in the world.

The unique topography, economy, population, and climate of Alaska, all make Alaska a challenging state to govern. Home of the Alaska pipeline, Alaska hosts the majority of our oil resources and some of the largest fiscal projects in the country. Alaska is home to indigenous peoples and remote towns that are not on the electrical grid. Alaska is the only state in the Arctic climate zone and is profoundly impacted by global warming. Alaska is home to diverse wildlife and consequently management issues.

International relations are a major issue in Alaska, and I’m not talking about cab drivers. Alaska shares a border with Canada and ten miles across the Bearing Strait is Russia. Consequently it has a standing National Guard. I don’t want to hear Sarah Palin is only governor of Alaska. There is nothing only about Alaska.”

(Dr. Lynette Long is a licensed psychologist practicing in Bethesda, Maryland. She is the author of twenty books and dozens of articles for both popular and professional journals. Dr. Long has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs and was the host of her own radio show, One-on-One with Dr. Lynette Long. Dr. Long has served on the faculties of Loyola College in Maryland, The American University and the University of Maryland, Overseas Division. Dr. Long has lived in Japan and Korea and has traveled extensively throughout the world.)

Like Rush says, “Feminism is Liberalism”. VERY left wing women putting down Sarah; I had one ally on the panel; a former state senator who’s a liberal Republican, but she’s for McCain/Palin.

I bought the book by Palin’s friend, so I defended her really well.

One very butch woman said it’s not about whether the candidate is a man or woman; it’s whether they are feminists.

So I asked if Bill Clinton was a feminist. They had to admit that he failed the test.

Great comment about Bill Clinton. I’m sorry you were outnumbered but glad you stood up for Sarah.

I met some radical feminists out in Los Angeles years ago. Their ideas were rabid and at the core truly full of hate. No wonder Hollywood has been presenting the white male as a pathetic creature for the last 20 years....radical feminism and the gay community were writing the scripts.
