Good evening, and later....good morning for Election Week 2008.
Nobama's now-revealed plans to destroy the coal industry -which only produces about 50% of our electricity for pete's sake! - got me to thinking...
You've heard of...a children's menu???...certainly children's books?? and maybe children's story hour at the public library??
Well, now, my FRiends, to quote John McCain, we have in Senator Nobama, the Children's Candidate!
Yep that's what he is the Candidate for the Children, for you ARE a child if you believe in his nonsense...you can't even call them fairy tales, because those old gems often have strains of truth and morals to them.
Nope, this Obama character is the Child Candidate for the Children who hope adoringly for "change"....They believe he'll pay their bills, fill their gas tanks, make all those bad people go away by **poof** "talking to them"...
Well, it's been an amazing spectacle, and it's not over.
But us Adults have to...WILL... show up to vote on Tues.
Childhood is fine for about 15 years, then it's time to move on to responsibilities, liberty based in self-discipline, and all sorts of achievements depending on our choices.
Know any voters like I've described? Divert them to the toy story on Tues....
Good morning, Jem. I will be listening to all my conservative radio talk shows, BUT will be avioding every single newscast (I'm very good at this by hitting my digital presets the instant the MSM is about to come on, having had lots of practice), and no TV until this evening. Hope your headache is already gone.
OH! Jem! Just saw it! SUPER SUPER tagline!!! :))
Not quite gone yet, but leaving. I have a delicious floaty feeling now.
Good Morning to all, going to vote later as I know there will be lines this morning. My neighbor, in her 80’s, is not feeling too well, she doesn’t think she will vote today. She is a strong democrat. Another friend of mine, who is also a strong democrat, says he isn’t voting today. I think we have lots of democrats who normally vote democrat every election....who are sitting this election out.
I was on bended knee this morning saying my prayers. I pray that God will continue to bless this country.
Good morning all,
I voted by mail over a week ago, so no lines for me.
The possible election results got to me last night, for the first time. I became overwrought with the vapors and had to retire to my bed, with prayers on my lips, and awoke with same. My liberal supervisor told me that Bill Crystal told some liberal talkshow host (I can’t recall the name - don’t watch them) that if Obama wins, life will go on much the same, as he feels O will govern from the middle. I think that is supposed to make me feel better, but I have a huge lack of trust in that man.
...POLICE IN TOLEDO, OH, ISSUED RIOT GEAR
MARKET: Should open up, futures higher.
Hang tight...it is going to be a bumpy ride.
Google it Jem - I did and one of the sources say:

...GOP ELECTION OFFICIALS THROWN OUT OF AT LEAST SIX POLLING LOCATIONS IN PHILADELPHIA DESPITE COURT ORDER TO THE CONTRARY
This could be a wonderful activity tomorrow if O wins. Grab the tools and whack away and dig, dig, dig.
Son and I got in line at 6:20 - there were at least a 100 people ahead of us. I did take a lawn chair and sat until the door opened. Once we were on the move, it went very, very quickly.
Great kassie! Glad you 2 got through and are already back!
May MANY dems sit it out today!
Thank you, both, for your links. Chair, I’m very glad you’re back. I appreciate your insights.
I was amazed at how fast it went once inside. Last time the school only had 4 booths, this time there were 20!
I’m so glad you suggested I take a chair. I sat for 40 minutes before I took my first step toward the door.
Love to all.
