If it is airworthy, it should go for at least twice, if not three times the price.

There are several flyable MiGs in the USA that are flown every weekend for airshows and events.

You can buy a 1/32 scale model for a lot less, although the full sized version would be cool to have in the backyard.

"Are the avionics in Russian, and can you buy some ordinance," would be the primary questions.

Look closer. His 191 feedbacks are all as a buyer. He has zero as a seller.

Ripoff.

If you shop around, you should be able to pick up a MiG 21 for about $25,000.

If you spend a few minutes Googling Ed Wright, you will find that an Ed Wright owns a MiG-21 purchased in 2002.

Not sure about the MIG 21, but the MIG 15 has a engine that is an exact copy of a Rolls Royce engine, making service fairly cheap and easy.

Actually, the guy may be legit. MediaMole pointed out that a Google search reveals an Ed White who purchased a surplus Mig 21 in 2002. Seems he wanted to use it as a test bed for some sort of rocket propulsion system.
