Given that it’s a 12 gauge, and it shows a break-away/internal shot, I would think that one could replicate it with some effort. (IE, we can see the internal mechanisms, and have a scale to base our own machining off it.) Also it would probably help to have the video in higher quality.

It sure puts the Saiga 12 to shame. I want one really, really bad. Actually the Saiga 12 does pretty well with either 10 round sticks or 20 round drums. An S12 with an Ace folder on it is one hell of compact little bundle of firepower.

“How do they control the recoil?”

I don’t know. I don’t think it was made very clear in the video.

When I retire, I want to make a 12 Gage Gatling gun.

Re: How do they control the recoil?

Something called the "Constant-Recoil" principle, but I'm not sure how it works. (post #18)

“However, the Russian Saiga 12 semi-auto shotgun IS available to civilians, and it also takes 20-shell drum magazines.”

The hard part is finding the drum mag at a source you can trust. Got any suggestions - someone with whom you’ve done business before?

Can’t wait to go fire this sucker off. Gonna try a change of furniture because the individual-purchase version has a stock way too long for me to use the sights.

If it started life as the Atchisson in 70’s I shot it , didn’t like it , wouldn’t carry it.......:o) The H&K CAWS was promising yet it didn’t feed off the shelf ammo properly so they took that back to the drawing board. I gave up a position at the weapons lab and never saw it again till this AA12 keeps showing up !

Looks........neat ! I’ll stick to my old slam fire Mod 12 Winchester Trench Gun thank yew.......:o)
