OK - so what caused the previous ice ages and what was the cause of them melting???
The last one was around 25,000 years ago ... what caused that one to melt?

The reason for my reply is these lib’s are saying it’s our fault for global warming - if so, what caused the last few ice ages to end?

some scientists in Arizona (Institute of CO2 Studies?) published some studies years ago showing that the earth would benefit by increasing CO2 because it would allow food production ot stay steady or increase (especially with population growth) as more traditional areas (Russia China Canada and US) lost production due to cooling

“He linked increases in atmospheric methane and carbon dioxide in the ice cores to a time about 5,000 years ago when humans commenced large-scale rice farming in Asia and extensive deforestation of European forests.”
Models, smodels. They’ll tell you anything you want to hear as long a you plug in the right assumptions. But I’ve heard it said often that one large volcanic eruption can put more CO2 into the air, and other matter than years of man’s activities. And, what did these folks assume about the sun, and changes in sun activity and sunspot activity?

. . .what caused that one to melt? There was a clan of cavemen--the Al Gorestone tribe blowing a lot of hot air.

If we’re cooling without industrialization, is that not confirmation that we’re cooling (with industrial pollution output declining)?
