I bought my tix in October and ended up with “Row WC”. I couldn’t figure out what the heck that was, so I called the box office and they told me it’s the WheelChair row (they said “accessible row”), which is right on the railing of the upper mezzanine. I also managed to get two hotel rooms in downtown Charlotte for under $250...on a Saturday night, no less!
Man, I can’t wait.
Thanks, he’s still a cute kid regardless. :)
I only saw the highlights, but that might be a preview of an NCAA tournament game sometime in March.
The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl: Boise State vs. TCU (8:00 pm, ESPN) Its a real shame that this, the battle of two very good teams, is played before Christmas. Looking at it in a different manner, these two teams may end up trying to outdo each other for BCS bids either next year or the following one. But thats the future. The present features a dynamic Boise State offense featuring QB Kellen Moore and an offense that took back the WAC yet again. Not to mention a TCU defense lead by MWC defensive player of the year Jerry Hughes. What could make the difference is Boise States defense, which has on average allowed 12.25 points per game, giving up single digits 5 times. You heard it from me that this one may be a defensive battle.
...as long as it’s not on that stupid blue field!
LOL, since I do live in Boise, “the Blue” is a great source of pride but only, it seems, to people who live here.
And with all of the damn snow we’ve had here, San Diego looks like a place I’d rather be right now.
I would like to thank the Raiders for shutting down the high powered Texans offense, allowing my fantasy team to still have a chance, albeit small to win!!
Tonight should be high scoring fun for sure!
To tell you the honest to God truth, it was more Johnny Lee Higgins than the rest of the Silver and Black, but I will say that it was nice to get a W of any sort.
I’m also not quite sure this will be as high scoring as many people think, unless we see a few turnovers and either TCU or BSU given a short field as a result. But this is also why I don’t make predictions either. :)
I like the blue field!
We all have our biases.
My taste runs to orange & white checkerboard endzones.
I keep saying to myself that one of these days I’ll see an SEC game in the flesh.
(That comment will get some other biases going I’m sure). :)
I’ve been to games at Bronco Stadium and it’s strange if you’ve go there and see it for the first time. A lot of opposing fans that I’ve talked to have said they’ve gotten headaches from trying to watch games in person but I’ve only had headaches from drinking too much draft beer.
The game and the trick plays are underway...
I like that one too.
I have to say Boise St does a reverse faster than anyone else I’ve ever seen. Some teams (mine included, God love them) seem to do a reverse in slow motion - not Boise!
TD Boise State! None other than Ian the Hero himself.
10-0 Broncos.
BSU has had talent at the skill positions for a while, and needless to say, they use them creatively.
One thing I’ve been thinking over the past season or two is that Ian Johnson reminds me a lot of Emmitt Smith. May not have track star kind of speed, but he hits the holes opened for him.
TCU throws an INT. Their O is not clicking right now...
FG for Boise State after a long INT return deep into TCU territory.
BSU 13
TCU 0
