Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
Freckles is going to have to off Janis now. She’s seen too much.
If Obama and Stand Up Chuck don't kill all of us before that
The Fox schedule does show 24 coming back in mid-season, into the 9pm slot after House. They are moving “Lie to Me” to the 9pm slot in the fall.
I kind of like that show, and think it would be funny to have that show run before 24, with Jack getting the truth by torture, and Liam simply by getting people who are so stupid that they talk to him for no reason and thereby reveal their lies.
The other white meat is pork...swine. No, I don’t really have it.

I'm sure that Season 8 will answer the cliff hangers for us...do Freckles and Wilson have a nice time, does Garfy get out of the cuffs or does she gnaw off her arm?
Does First Brat go up the river or does SHE ex-cape? Does Jack come out of it with Kim's stem cells? Will he go blonde and grow breasteses? What happened to TONY?
Plot writers leaving it open in case Kiefer goes to jail for headbutting/parole violation ?
Who cares. They need to bring back Garafalo. Without her, the show is worthless.

Well yes, usually, but since we were talking about swine, I thought the “other white meat” was contrasting to the “swine flu”. Anyway, I thought “Chicken Flu” sounded funnier than “Pork Flu”.
In other news, I take it back, 2010 is just as boring as 2001. Odd because I think I liked both of the books, and I even read 2061.
Ok... I guess I’m OUT for now... Maybe, we can get to 10k with post-show analysis in the next day or two...

A lot of questions are unanswered. I’m sure I’ll think of more tomorrow.
Note to those who write and produce “24.” If you try to be all things to all people you'll fail. Next season forcing another lib on us is a good way to lose more viewers. You have two choices, bowing to political correctness or getting back to the kind of hard hitting show that we hoped this season was going to be but wasn't. Choose wisely.

That would be my favorite part of the season.
Next season is going to put a real spin. Jack is going to try to bomb an Israeli supermarket and they are going to have to let Tony loose to stop him.

So in other words, they really haven’t finished ANY of their plot points, except that we are reasonably sure that nobody will be able to re-use the cow pox virus.
Not only don’t we know what happens to Wilson, we don’t know who Wilson works with. DO we even know what happened to the agent who kidnapped Henry and took him to Juma?
And we still haven’t found Behrus.
