A sure sign of mediocrity of the night is that fact that there is absolutely no consensus about who was good versus who should go.
Usually we can at least get a majority on one person, not so this season so far. It’s all over the map.

Tonight’s show—just too weird for me. I never knew the lyrics to these MJ songs. I could never understand a word the guy said or sang...very poor enunciation. But now I know how raunchy most of the lyrics were.(Thanks to closed captioning.) Then I think that MJ was singing these lyrics, in his mind, to ten-year-old boys. Yuck! We should not, as consumers of music, glorify a pedophile by singing his songs.

The singers did their best. Jasmine and Anoop fell short and should be going home, but who knows?
Adam is too slick and over the top. Didn’t like him at all, regardless of orientation. Megan is strictly Amateur Hour; also Scott and Michael.
My top four this week:
1. Danny—terrific voice; great presentation
2. Lil—reminds me of Jennifer Hudson
3. Jorge—charisma, charisma, charisma
4. Matt—smooth,soulful, great musicology
