Yeah, I've thought the exact same thing. I liked her initial audition, but in her three performances on the live stage has shown she could have benefited from waiting and developing a better, more confident stage presence with a more matured voice. It's been too overwhelming for this young cutie.

Megan was the most irritating for me. The CAW-CAW at the end sealed it for me. She’s like this season’s Kristy Lee Cook... should be better, but very odd performances.

It'd be funnier if she sang "Saving All My Love For You" for a fourth time. Then the judges announce next week is Whitney Houston night and she sings it for a fifth time.

Tatiana would have made this season MUCH better. Now, for at least 10 weeks we’ll be treated with the Adam Lambert man-on-man tongue kissing pictures.

If it would help, I could post that underwear pic of Sanjaya wiggling his hips. That might take your mind off Lambert's smooching...

Actually, my dog Jack, knucklehead and jokester that he is, took over my computer whilst we were downstairs feeding the cats and cleaning out their litter box (Michael Jackson inspired the latter) and posted the statement that I posted #10,000 and not Lil.

Fact is it was Lil, not I, who did post #10,000. I do not possess the BLIND LUCK necessary to pull off that feat the way Lil does.

‘American Idol’ to use Carrie Underwood’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ as exit

http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/american-idol-use-carrie-underwood-home-sweet-home-as-exit-8595.php

Carrie Underwood is returning to her American Idol roots with a noble cause — and an 80’s rock anthem — in hand.

The American Idol fourth-season champ’s rendition of Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” will serve as the “farewell song” heard after each of the eighth season’s Top 13 finalists is eliminated from the competition.

In addition to serenading each of the fallen Idol finalists, Underwood’s version of “Home Sweet Home” will also be sold as a digital single, with a portion of its sales being donated to The Humane Society of the United States.

“I’ve always loved this song, and besides being very fitting for Idol, to me, the title is also very fitting with animal rescue and finding animals their own homes,” Underwood said. “So we felt it was important to tie the release into an amazing animal charity like The HSUS.”

Last season, American Idol second-season champion Ruben Studdard’s cover of Kenny Loggins’ “Celebrate Me Home” served as Idol’s “farewell song.” The cover represented the first time a recording was done for the sole purpose of being used as Idol’s exit song.

In 2007, fifth-season Idol finalist Chris Daughtry’s “Home” was tapped as the exit song for the show’s sixth-season finals. “Home” went on to garner a Grammy nomination and helped make Daughtry’s self-titled debut album the top-selling album of the year.

Nothing changed overnight. Dial Idol still has Jorge with the least amount of votes, followed by Allison and third with Jasmine.

http://www.dialidol.com/asp/predictions/Predictions.asp

So.... maybe its a good thing if the lowest goes and the judges choose between the next two lowest. Allison sure doesn’t deserve that second to lowest spot. Not sure what is up with that.

The impression I got is that they are going to be able to override the public’s vote.

That's the feeling I had too.

No wonder the producers are Obama fans.

Jorge: The boy's got some brows. Reminiscent of Jason Giambi's mustache... only in stereo. Wiggly waggly stereo.

ROFL!! Great review!

The judges would get to choose who actually leaves?? This is like the government...doing it for our own good.

Exactly--if it's true. We may be getting worked up over nothing.

But Seacrest and Simon's little chat at the end of the show was ominous. "It will involve us."

Off topic, but a “Led Zeppelin Night” for Idol would be awesome! Robert Plant or Jimmy Page (or both) could be the mentors.

Maybe they'll cut one of the judges. Just sayin...

They need to! LOL, I vote for Kara :)

My pick is Kris to go home, because I can barely remember him.

I'd like Anoop to squeak by this week and have another chance. But that would be his third or fourth second chance.

Perhaps it will be something like So You Think You Can Dance...where the bottom 4 have a dance off (sing off) and the judges pick who goes from that.

Ugh.

I think he snapped mentally after the fire. It was a big deal back then.

I agree that Jasmine should go...and Jorge too.

I forgot Jorge, LOL

He should go. His performance was lame. And he creeps me out too. But with the entire Peurto Rican community behind him, he's probably safe.

I'll FF over West tomorrow night.

I wish I could that :)

I'll force myself to listen just in case he slips something political into his "song".

And as I said in my post, he’s a good singer, nice guy, but creepy looking. It was a reference to that years AI Live Thread, too.
