Wow That one hurt! HOMER.

Maybe it was an efficiency thing. They only had to hire one guy this way. Regardless of who won, Rod, who was a pro-bowler for both teams, could present the trophy. ;-)

Fitz’s is neater...and a bit longer I’d say.

Using your logic, the Indiana Pacers have a championship, and so do the Phoenix Coyotes. The Packers won most of those “Championships” back when there were many competing football leagues with comparable talent. The Super Bowl is the end all to be all of all disputes for the World Championship and the Packers won 3. My Vikes won none, but hell, we don’t count our NFL Championship of 1969 as a championship like the Pack.

Funny you said that. My son-in-law said he was actually a skinny kid in college.

Ping if you can stomach the Steelers win.
Go CARDINALS, only because they are the NFC Champs.

Nice to hear that Tomlin is exactly who he seems to be. Fame and fortune hasn’t seemed to change him.

No the first matchup of previous winners was Terry Bradshaw versus Roger Staubach in Super Bowl X.

The Steelers are always quick to cut old players (and they usually lose a step)
Regarding Rod Woodson, I do remember that someone said (I believe it was Dan Rooney himself) saying that letting Rod go was one of the biggest mistakes he made.

Cant wait to see how the NFL hands the game to the Steelers like their last win against the Seahawks . . . Another boohoo bird!

due to the fact that the Seahawks are an isolated team (2,500 miles from another team) ROFL! Now there's a factoid for ya!

Let’s Go Steelers!
That said I think Wisenhunt is a better coach than Tomlin and if it comes down to game day coaching Wisenhunt will win. Hopefully the Steelers are massively better than the Cards.

lets see a team with no SB appearances win itYou must be one of those egalitarians who think it's not "fair" that some teams can't manage to find talented players or a good coaching staff, that some teams do better in the lottery of life. I, for one, would like to see Pittsburgh make history and get six Super Bowl rings.

Meanwhile, I saw Mike Tomlin interviewed. He gives all the credit to his players. Humility is apparent in his style... Not only that, but he managed to quote both Proverbs and Robert Frost.
The guy sounds like an intellectual! Who would have thunk it? ;~))
