The Prayer the Obama People Didn't Want You To See On TV
YouTube ^ | 1-18-09

Here's video of the prayer that the openly gay Bishop Gene Robinson delivered at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday as part of President-elect Barrack Obama's inauguration kick off event.

Turned out, Obama's people told HBO not to include Bishop Robinison in the worldwide broadcast. Someone contacted HBO and was told it was Obama's team who banned Robinson from the televised event. Can't believe that he banned this video because Robinson is gay.

Maybe they banned it because he said, “...our new president is a human being and not a messiah.”? (1:13-1:17)

Turned the video off at Robinson’s “Oh, God of our many understandings...” Actually needs a barf alert.

Don’t know who he’s praying to, but it ain’t my God.

If you want to save a copy of it before it gets “disappeared”, use this URL.

Otherwise, it won’t download.

You have to watch this, it's so sad. At one point the guy says that Obama is not a messiah and a person near the camera laughs.

"Bless this nation with anger at discrimination"

He did not include Christians but he did include homosexuals and transgenders. This guy is a religious leader alright, but not the religion of God Almighty. The church has been infiltrated, of that I am 100% sure.

Three cheers to him, in spite of him. Did he really say it, like he meant it?

No, I ain't watching it.

He hit every highnote in the Rat catechism:

Sacrifice, challenge, intolerance, hate, differences, blah blah blah BS.

If I were God I’d tell that man to Shut The F*&^ Up.

Millions of 12 steppers are clean and sober . . . today . . . because of reliance on a Higher Power. Each person comes face to face with his/her own spirituality and with his/her own deeply personal understanding of a power greater than themself. And many are deeply grteful.

Oh, God will judge the man. Psalm 37 says so.

It was all in keeping with Obama’s plan to lower expectations now that he’s been elected. Notice he didn’t pray for Obama to recognize that he’s not the Messiah, only that we recognize that he’s not the Messiah. Even then, I think he means that we are supposed to recognize this only if things go really wrong. Basically, he’s helping 0 to have it both ways.

This really wasn’t a prayer, but a political harangue. Bishop Robinson is truly pathetic.

There was this one priest when I was a kid that was SO boring it made me dread his mass. I was getting flashbacks. Could this man be any more boring?

So - In the less than half I could stomach:

He calls for everyone to “embrace our differences” - um NO. I love my fellow many because Christ loves me and lives in my heart, but I DO NOT have to “embrace” the life they have chosen. Robinson’s position is that no-one should preach anything that steps on the toes of sinners.

And he basically equates all religions as the same.

Ummm.. again, NO!

I just left this as a comment on YouTube:

Ah, Latitudinarianism at its most mealymouthed! Even absent his sexual proclivities, ‘Bishop’ Robinson would be proof positive that Anglicanism has completely departed from the Faith once delivered to the saints. One wonders what the Obamaites found objectionable that they demanded HBO omit coverage of the ‘prayer’?

Embrace our differences - just like they embraced the differences in Rick Warren’s ideology.
