Not so fast on the “loafer” thing. That might have been done ONLY for image manipulation. Although, I do think his friend had the best line. “I am the dragon slayer [in bed].” Pretty damn funny.
I just watched the final 7 Ponderosa vid clips. Coach had another poem. Gosh, I’m going to miss this show. Now what am I going to do with my Thursday nights?
LOL! Yes, her line was great and Coach seemed to enjoy it too. I wonder why his brother and other family weren’t there? Hmmmmmm ...

Coach’s Lie Detector expert, Joe Groghan, is a fraud by the way. He is not the “premier polygraph examiner” in Southern California, nor can he claim any real training in polygraph examination. He sells bogus polygraph courses and is beleived to be the subject of a class action lawsuit.

Time to talk with Coach. Jeff calls him the most "colorful and controversial" people on Survivor. Coach says strangers have been pretty cool for the most part and his family understands his eccentric ways. He likes to put his mark on everything he does. Jeff asks Coach if he feels the contestants believed him when he told the story about the Amazon tribe kidnapping him. Coach replied that it was the truth, it didn't matter what they thought. Jeff then let everyone know that Coach refused a lie detector test. He says it wouldn't have proven anything, he wanted to handle his own reputation, not the producers of Survivor. Coach then produced a sealed envelope with the results of a lie detector test he took though John Grogan, a Hollywood authority. (Jeff will call and verify the information after the show.)
The lie detector says he really was captured by natives. Jeff is impressed.

I thought this season was one of the better ones and agree that the best player did win. Congrats to JT, though I am not happy about what happened to Taj. I mean he won’t write Coach down, and takes Stephen because of a promise... Regardless he deserved the win.
Not sure about Stephen, & realize that the problem with Survivor & other ‘reality’ is that so much depends on the editing. I liked him and then I really didn’t. It’s funny to think that Erinn just might have gotten more votes (than Stephen) after all.

I had a thought last night for an interesting season of Survivor. They usually have 1 or 2 players with a military background. Why not have a season of nothing but players with military backgrounds? Maybe another 4 tribe season, starting out with the different branches as tribes. Eh, just a thought. Doubt they would do it.
I think they should give each tribe a dog at the start.
That would add a new dynamic, at least up until one of the tribes decided to eat their dog right before an important immunity challenge...
I read “handle my own reputation” to mean “hire someone who will give me the results I need.”
Also, someone on another board mentioned that Grogan administered no “test questions” and that his phrasing of the questions was not designed to elicit the truthfulness of the response. I think CBS should simply tell Douche (as I call him) since he produced questionable results on the Reunion show to prove the truthfulness of his claims, he can have his “show” money just as soon as he submits to a lie detector test performed by an ex FBI polygrapher (and there are plenty of those guys around).
Did Douche ever explain how he knew what the “little native people” were saying? I mean they weren’t speaking Portugese!
I’d love to see that, but SeeBS? Doing something pro-military? Not going to happen.
I’d like to see a season with three tribes of six players each. No tribe switches and no dissolving of any tribes until the merge, when all three tribes come together. No one tribe will have a majority. That’d be fascinating to watch.
