Thanks for your encourging words jonny. I have had the same feeling since getting the email. If they don’t understand perhaps it’s not a place I want to work anyway:)

Aw, even though it's fuzzy and out of focus you're still cute ;)

Awww...thank you!

I think that big white book on the left side of the bookcase is about Remington prints and statues.

It’s not any Friday, it’s “Good Friday”. There’s a difference.

It’s really weird, you may be on to something...everything Paula has said this evening sounds completely rehearsed, I just can’t imagine someone speaking those words spontaneously.

Do you think they actually have written their speeches beforehand?

She did critique someone last year before they even sang a song...but ascribed it to confusion/mixup.

Wow...that’d really be something if AI actually writes out commentary before the performances!

No, the voice tenor is not on the same pitch, but something about Adam’s performance tonight immediately struck me as the same depth of connection of another certain artist loved by so many – I felt I was looking right at Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.

Adam’s performance was absolutely beautiful. It was of the quality of a Beach Boys “God Only Knows” delivery or “Pet Sounds” classic. For me, it was almost spooky – for one second there he even turned into Brian Wilson right before my eyes, in part I suppose because the hair cut was a spin right from Brian, but also because of something in the heart of Adam’s singing.

Wow.
I believe Adam is American’s Idol. It’s up to America to vote, but Adam won me early on, and he’s won me to the end at this point in the competition.

I love his talent and his commitment to artistry. You know, there are a lot of things on my mind and all of us, with the politics, the economy, and all of that … But Adam just “takes me away”.

Wow. Standing ovation damn right.

ROTFL!! That usually just encourages me. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve made my mom start cracking up in the middle of drinking something and she has to try with everything to not blow out her drink.......and the perverse glee it gives me. hehehehehehehee...

I'm terrible. I sometimes try to time things that way.

I was out with 3 female friends last week who were blathering on & on about him. I’ve never heard of him, but clearly, he’s something special if he’s even haunting the ladies of FR.

I know. He doesn't care about that either. That's a tradition of a church. Nothing wrong with that. But it's not worth passing up a job. It's not something God actually cares about.

American Idol Michael Johns to release his debut album

http://www.examiner.com/x-2586-Pop-Music-Examiner~y2009m4d6-American-Idol-Michael-Johns-to-release-his-debut-album

Former American Idol contestant Michael Johns is dropping his debut album Hold Back My Heart on June 23rd. The Idol alum was one of the shockers last season when he was voted off prematurely. Not winning Idol certainly didn’t slow him down for long though.

Since completing the Idol tour Johns has kept himself busy, not only recording his album but also a track benefiting the Red Cross and AIS at Christmastime entitled, Another Christmas. He also performed on Kanye West’s tour during the West Coast run as well as co-writing a track for another American Idol cast off last season, Brooke White.

The first single off the new album is called Heart on My Sleeve and will be released on iTunes next Tuesday, April 14th and to radio airwaves the 21st.

Top Half this week:

Allison - The best, almost by default
Matt G - Much much better than last week.
Danny - Decent
Adam - Was looking forward to this song (one of my favorite Tears for Fears songs) and whether he would go more in the direction of Jules, which he did... just way way too broadway theatrical for my tastes... could have reigned it in and been effective, but the judges are pimping him as the winner anyway, so he’s virtually untouchable.

Bottom Half this week:

Kris - Sang OK... didn’t care for the arrangement of this song... Bad song choice.
Lil - Performed OK, but as was said, second or third-rate Tina.
Anoop - I’m sorry, what? I was mesmerized by the Beech-Nut Fruit Stripe Mr. Rogers sweater. Forgettable otherwise.
Scott - I give him credit for taking a risk and trying something different and bold (for him)... lost control of it though... seems to have that “it’s time for me to go home” demeanor like the previous two eliminated contestants (Michael and Megan).

I like Adam MUCH more than Sangaya. I hated that creep. At least Adam is honest about it...lol. Sangaya also sucked as a singer. Adam is in the middle of the pack in my opinion. I like Matt, Kris, Allison. If Allison is in the bottom three again, I will scream. Would be funny if Matt is in the bottom three again as he was one of the best. That would be very interesting. Can we once and for all get rid of SCOTT!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!
