AI should cut Kara, time crunch problem solved. She adds 0 to the show, IMO.

Regarding Adam, I think only the PG-13 stuff has been leaked SO FAR ...

I watched it last night and was blow away by it. His voice is AMAZING. He is operating at a different level than everyone else.

I don't care that he is gay, who he shags, who his friends are or anything else. As long as he isn't talking about his politics or telling me how to vote then his life is none of my concern. The man can sing and commands a stage like nothing I have ever seen (or can at least recall) on Idol. His rendition of Smokey Robinson was extremely well done and VERY respectful of such a music icon.

Well, the world is going mad now with your latest performance. Damn boy....I just love you more and more. I love your voice, your style and I think you will win this thing. And for the record, I do not think you are gay. I think you are a rocker, and you are unique and just because you have great vocal range and can sing high notes and you dress weird, does NOT make you gay.

If Adam isn't gay, he must be a damned good actor. Even so, he's the best singer and performer in this year's group by a mile. I'm glad he's cleaned up his act enough for mainstream audiences, because he deserves to win the title this year.

Having watched the show last night there’s Adam, then Danny, then Allison and then Anoop & Matt then the rest. Adam’s stuff was very haunting but the vocal control for a live perfomance of a cover tune was damned good.

I wouldn’t buy Adam’s stuff or pay to see him but he’s amazing compared to anything else I have seen. He has the vocals to be a recording artist and his stage presence is there. He’s got a career ahead of him. Some people can’t see past the gay stuff but I actually find that less offensive than the backstabbing BS from musicians and actors who smeared our troops or Bush while they were trying to defend us. If he can keep the Freddie Mercury?Liberace crap to a minimum and just sing then I’m cool with him.

I’d pay money for Danny’s stuff though.

American Idol: Carrie Underwood Wins The Entertainer Of The Year

http://www.realitytvmagazine.com/blog/2009/04/07/american-idol-carrie-underwood-wins-the-entertainer-of-the-year/

April 7, 2009 09:00:37 by Britteny Elrick

After winning American Idol season 4, Carrie Underwood has gone on to be one of the most successful artists ever to be on the show. Her debut album Some Hearts was the certified seven times platinum and also the fastest selling solo country debut album in history. To add to her multiple grammies, Carrie snagged some more awards on Sunday at the American Country Music Awards…

Since 1970 there have only been six females who have taken home the honor of Entertainer of the Year at the ACM Awards, and Carrie Underwood is now the seventh. When she accepted the award, a tearful Carrie said, “I’ve had a lot of good moments in the last four years. This one takes the cake! Thank you God, thank you fans, thank you to ACM for nominating me in the first place. I never thought I’d be nominated and never thought I’d win.”

Carrie continued, “I’m shaking. I don’t know what to say. I got nothing. Mike, baby, I wish you were here!” Mike Fisher, Ottawa Senators hockey player, is Carrie’s boyfriend. The artist also took home the award for Top Female Vocalist, which she has won for three consecutive years.

What can we say but congratulations on your amazing accomplishment Carrie!

” His rendition of Smokey Robinson was extremely well done and VERY respectful of such a music icon. “

Agree with you on the personal part , and his interpretation of Tracks of my Tears.

He is able to control his voice better than any other contestant. Danny Gokey is very good, but couldn’t match Adams range/control in a similar interpretation of a song.

Adam can certainly handle Danny’s range.

To my wife and I Adam should be the next American Idol

You mean Steve Miller? :)

LOL! What an altra-moronic idiot I am! Yes, of course, Steve Miller. What was I thinking?! Ya know, I asked myself twice is that Joe Walsh who sings this song and then I thought whatever, Joe Walsh, Steve Miller, Jackson Browne, Rich Fury, they were all in the same band together, or at the very least, jammed with one another at some point! ;-)

I think I would have been at a distinct disadvantage with last night’s theme. According to your website I would have been stuck with Percy Faith’s theme from “A Summer Place”.

“So can we count on your for a donation of $300 or more?” I started laughing at her!

LOL!!

That's a bit steep. $300?? They'd be lucky if I gave them $3!

She keeps saying 'next week' she'll do what the judges suggest. That's the last three weeks now.

I'm guessing her family tells her to ignore whatever the judges tell her.

What they don’t tell you is, when the producers decide to eliminate a contestant, they just have the phone company shut down the lines after a certain time.

I don't believe that. If they could do that then they would have fixed it so Daughtry won in 2006.

And they wouldn't have felt the need to invent a judges' veto this year, gimmicky as it is.
