If this were true we would have read about it in The National Enquirer!
LOL! Mom knows best. :)
When I was a little kid my grandmother warned me not to eat watermelon seeds because they would grow in my stomach.......She also had eyes in the back of her head, or so she said.
“So weird that it can grow in total darkness.”
from the article:
“...but when they cut the tissue, they were amazed to see green needles in the cut”
Maybe it was his sunny disposition that allowed chlorophyll to form in the dark of his lungs.
“The seed contains the nutrients needed to grow up out of the ground, light isnt needed until later.”
If this weren’t true, no seed could sprout, since it’s dark under the ground. If it were a seedling in the man’s lung, I’d have never raised the issue. From both the doctors’ account and the photograph, it appears to be a small tree. It doesn’t even look etiolated.
I guess Mom WAS right! If a girl swallows a watermelon seed it’ll grow in your stomach and in nine months you’ll have yourself a baby! ;)
LOL! Thanks for the giggle. I needed one today.
OK, I couldn’t come up with much except
the speciality would have to be
Pulmonary Arborology
see, I told you it wasn’t much.....
But only if he were from the OTHER Georgia not the one near Russia
LOL!!
I’ll refrain from John Birch jokes.
Fir tree man shocks doctors
