related question: When I board airplanes in south Texas, I usually see Border Patrol agents asking if people are citizens. What’s that all about? Can they demand proof, i.e. passport?
Office of Border Patrol has a tough job, and it serves no good cause when gentlemen like this are unreasonably difficult for no other purpose than to provoke a reaction.

Anyone that wants to pick a constitutional battle should first study the laws pertaining to what they are objecting to. The various objections to BP checkpoints and BPtraffic stops have been to court numerous times.
Are there bad apples in the BP- of course there are just as in all walks of life. This guy could be a poster boy for how not to act though so he is just the guy to bring out the worst in even the best BP officer. He does not have my support or sympathy unless he has further proof of what he claims happened.
