The law has been established for literally hundreds of years that border officials (ie, Customs & Border Protection, of which the Office of Border Patrol is a part) fulfil the requirements of the Fourth Amendment simply by proximity to the border. Remember, the amendment is against *unreasonable* searches and seizures, not *all* searches and seizures.

i think he just did it to test out his constitutional rights and if you’ve got nothing to hide you’ll be fine

but i salute this guy...he shouldn’t have to get searched without any sort of real reasoning...i mean people have lives and don’t want to deal with a search

i’m glad he won this battle and i mean the patrol officer said he had no rights...these guys don’t know the law a lot of the times...you guys give way too much respect to the badge they are just regular guys a lot of the time
