Homeschooled Brett and Alex Harris use the story of Clara as part of their inspiration which led to the book they wrote called, “Do Hard Things” which battles the low expectations we as a society place on our kids.

We took our kids to their “Rebelution” tour last year, based on the book, and it impacted our kids lives tremendously.

Rebelution is a movement to rebel against teenage low expectations. They use many stories of young people who became something great.

That sounds incredible, and a lesson that no one is ever too old to learn. I have 20-year-olds but I’m sure they could use this.

When I was a kid, Clara Barton was one of my idols and I read everything I find about her. She, and Helen Keller, and Annie Oakley, were my inspirations.
