Folks who study the workplace will tell you that people tend to do the work that is in their comfort zone and try to avoid the "difficult" work they are not sure how to complete.

I saw this so many times in my career - - executives under stress reverted to managing things like the toilet paper budget while refusing to confront major strategic issues.

What gets me is the media not picking up on this. On his use of "this race" to be exact. On the fact that he's still in campaign mode.

The pundits are so in awe of him that they aren't paying close enough attention to what he's saying.

Believe me - I noticed it immediately as he said it. However, you’re right - the media is only hearing what they want to hear. They seek one who will tickle their itching ears.

My favorite part of his 100 day speech (hhh-HURL) was when he said he is “disappointed that he can’t just tell the bankers what to do, and they do it.”

He came right out and matter of factly said to the American People that he wants control of the bank presidents. Nobody batted an eye.

Scarier than what is going on now would be for Obama to win again in ‘12. No longer having to worry about the “middle” to win re-election, there’d be no stopping his leftist takeover of the country. Stick a fork in us; we’d be done.
