This is just out of committee, so I believe that it can be altered before the final bill reaches the Senate.
I seem to remember them doing things like this before, it never ends up like that in the final version.
Your take of the Liberal vs. Conservative demographic is woefully upside down.
I didn’t say all NASA contractors were liberals. Just that those that are are going to get a rude shock.
It’s all the liberal NASA civil servants, that have “safe” jobs, who are celebrating NASA’s “Gay Month” instead of worrying about getting laid off as Congress and Obama decide whether or not NASA is going to do what they are chartered to do - explore space.
They really don’t care how many conservative contractors get flushed out onto the street in a broken economy. Here is a clue, neither do the contractor lobbyists who use threats of layoffs to scare people into writing Congress to give NASA more funding. It’s all a game to them. A stressful and often tragic one for the families of contractors constantly under the threat of lay off.
True enough. My apologies for snapping at you.
