But seller of 'Obama's birth certificate' dodges administrators to post 3rd time

Editor's note: Since publication of this story, the auction item has been removed for the third time. None of the item identification numbers in this article remain valid.

An eBay seller who previously promised to deliver a certified copy of President Obama's actual birth certificate – from a hospital in Mombasa, Kenya – has twice had his listing removed from the popular auction website.

In a third listing, however, the seller calling himself "colmado_naranja" has explained why the birth certificate was twice yanked by eBay administration.

I love you Catholics.

You love us enough to viciously mock the Holy Eucharist.

Take off the hood, crack open a Bible and read John 6.

>>I love you Catholics. I want to see you set free from the religion of lies that holds you captive.<<

That’s not love. That’s self-righteous narcissism, brought on by doubt of the beliefs that one follows manifested in the action of lashing out at another religion.

Profession help or a dictionary might help.

It is interesting how much friction/resistance is generated by the issue; also it is interesting that the legal route refused to be granted... I should think they would have an interest in seeing that the law was justly carried out.

I would guess that the Kenyan birth certificate is just about as authentic as the acting president!

a couple of weeks back eBay had changed their Terms of Service in regards to such items. Coincidence?

Ebay is just trying to protect consumers. LOL.. I understand. But this posting is pretty clear—you don’t have to pay for it if you don’t deem it legitimate after looking at it. I just hope this person wears a bullet-proof vest at the meeting on the steps of the Iowa State Capitol for the exchange. Chances are some Chicago-type thugs will be waiting on nearby rooftops.

“This issue makes the right look like kooks.”

First of all, to categorize all on the right as kooks because of what some do isn't fair. Most people on the right couldn't care less about this.

Second, there are kooks on the right, maybe just as many as on the left. They don't just “look like kooks”, they are kooks.

Third, just because a conspiracy theory sounds kooky to you, doesn't mean it isn't true. Unless you have convincing evidence that Obama was born in the US,(if you do please share it) you would do well to keep your suspicions to yourself no matter how kooky this sounds. You could be wrong.

“I love you Catholics. I want to see you set free from the religion of lies that holds you captive.”

That’s a heck of a way to refer to Christ’s own church.

I simply don’t love everyone, but I do believe in Charity. Loving everyone is humanly impossible even as a Christian. Love is deficient in humanity. That is why there is the virtue of Charity because it is within the Will that we show love even when it not within us. It is because of Charity that I must say you are caught within a web of deceit that blinds you and binds you to hatred.

Calling the Eucharist a lie is demonic. Calling the Catholic Church a lie is calling the Eucharist a lie.

Definitely demonic and a silly self-righteous blurb.

Even then, some claim it’s a forgery (which would then be a felony to present such a document).

“What a silly, self-righteous burble.”

I didn’t think of it myself. Jesus Christ the Lord put the mantle of His righteousness on me the moment I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Savior.

What self-rightepus burble it is to preach the words of men instead of The Word of God.

Yeah, that pesky Constitution is really annoying sometimes.

First I did not characterize “all the right as kooks because of what some do.” I am as right as any sane man ought to be, so I would never do that. When a good number of right wing nuts promote silly ideas, it is a stain in the eyes of the world on all with whom they are associated.

What makes this Quixote cause so kooky is that it is based on a kooky premise, that is, that the constitution requires presidents to have been born within the US. The constitution doesn't say that.

I know of no one who disputes that Obama’s mother was a citizen of the US when he was born. That makes him a natural born citizen no matter where he was born. An no, the constitution doesn't require the mother to be of a certain age either. If she was a citizen when he was born, he was born a citizen of the US.

Absolutely no court in the nation would dispute that fact, so to waste time on this, when there are far better things to oppose the administration on, is to tilt at windmills at a time when there are real dragons to slay.

The provision that presidents be natural born citizens was made in order to prevent conflicts of interest, or loyalty, in the case of people born outside the country. People with dual citizenship are not eligible to be president for good reason. They may have conflicting loyalties. The fact that his mother was a US citizen matters not. This is why the requirements for being president are more stringent than simply a US citizenship.

If Obama was born in Hawaii then no problem, he is qualified. All he needs to do is show us his birth certificate and this would all go away. The fact that he won't, or can't, means he is either stupid or duplicitous. I suspect it is a combination of both.
