Was moving to Egypt kinda like going to California during the Dust Bowl?
I keep getting this image of a Joadstein family loading up to move to greener pastures during the drought with Henry Fonda in the role of Joseph.
I can see it now, Fonda with that Midwest twang, saying”Gosh, sure looks to me like we’re gonna have seven good years and seven bad ones.”
Well, maybe... at the beginning of the tale, Tom Joadstein was asked why he *fled* Egypt for the Sinai, he replies, “homicide”. ;’)
