The Treasure

I kiss her cheek and smile soft
her spirit brightens so to loft
and in the moment both understand
that for all time nothing is banned

The grace of youth becomes a tale told
and her eyes reflect the joy grown old
I treasure her for the gift she has been
and hope I become the same now and then

Good Morning one and all!!!!!!!!!!
Happy July

I always wanted to retire in MO. Such a beautiful state. I had (in my mind) a house up on a little hill, surrounded by weeping willow trees, flowers, grass, picnic tables, all leading down to the little dock on a quiet lake.

I can actually ‘see’ it, if I close my eyes.............

Thanks, Diver.

This reminds me of summer. Uncle Sam is great winter, spring, fall and summer.

“I always wanted to retire in MO.”

I’m holding out for Oz myself, I think I can pass myself off as a sort of tall and older Munchkin if I do it right!

Since I turned all of three years old a couple of months after that picture was taken, I remember that Fourth of July picnic just like it was yesterday.

Agreed .... Uncle Sam is one tough dude; baseball, football and basketball.

Great to see you on the threads again, SJB.

Hope you are having a great week.

Is it July? I can't tell. It has pretty much looked the same since last September except that now high temperatures are 60º (July is usually 80s by now). And rain has not stopped.

Anyone born in the past 10 months doesn't know what sun is.

Send money. That would help.

Good morning, Jaycee. I love that Summer Graphic.

Hope you are feeling okay. Are you going to the doctor sometime today?

Be careful and take care of yourself.

Hugs

Hi Jane. Happy July 1st.

It is really tough watching what is happening to our country.

I try to stay positive and am praying that the Tea Parties will get the attention of Congress and the main stream media. We know that Zero will thumb his nose at us. We have to get the message to Congress!

I’ll get off my soapbox now. Sorry for the rant. :)

Have a beautiful day.

LOL - me, too, fewz! Those ladies did it right, didn’t they? Hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, deviled eggs, baked beans, corn on the cob, watermelon - and oh - those wonderful cakes! Yummmmm.

WOW ... this looks like ole home week!
So good to see you, Dutchess.
Yesterday Wolfie made an appearance on the June thread.
StephenJohnBanker made an awesome comeback from cancer.

The news is keeping us all depressed.
I'm hoping that The TeaParties will get Congress' attention.
Will you be able to make the Tea Party and the Freeper Banquet in DC?
It would be great to see you again.

Good news about Giz.
Thank God for hearing the prayers for our furry kids.
I LOL at Susie. She sounds perfect!

Hope you come see us again soon.
We miss you.

Have a Lovely Day.

Great Summer Graphic, Yorkie. Thank you.

Your son’s father is still in my prayers. Is there any news?

I’m going to be AWOL this afternoon. Taking Marissa to a movie before swim lessons. We are going to meet my friend and her grandson there. At least it will be cool. :)

Hope you are having a beautiful day.
