I just took the following from an impatiens site! When I plant them they are usually in the sun until 1 or 2 o’clock and then shade the rest of the day.

There are only three drawbacks to using Impatiens in your landscape.

Sun - Too much sun will wither this plant so fast it will make you cry. Do give it a shady spot that gets half a day or less of full sun - preferably morning sun.

Water - If you let Impatiens dry out too much they will wither quickly and die. One negligent day will do it. Make sure these plants have a moist soil at all times. Mulch is a must.

Color - If you are looking for blues or yellows, Impatiens are not the plant for you. They range in color from pure white to pink to salmon to orange to red with some bicolors.

You know, I never thought of begonia - and after a little search on my Mr. "G" site, there it was.

I think impatiens may be a bit too fragile for me to have here.

I feel like that somedays without sitting on the washer....

Is that like being a weeble wobble or jello?

It is customary for the intellectual to sport red on Fridays in support of the country's troops.

GARDENIA
Another plant that likes filtered sun, and lots of shade.

I love searching on Mr. "G"s page,
He teaches me new things every day!

I’ve never seen a begonia as pretty as that one. It must be a hibrid. Begonias are good growers....or I should say easier, I guess! Do you know the name of the one you are showing?

I’ve gotta run out if another rain doesn’t blow up. I have never seen so much rain. It has beaten my geraniums to death and they were beautiful. They will straighten out when the rains are over and I can cut the bad off.

JC, it is called “Illumination Orange” Begonia. It is tuberous - so I don’t think it is hybrid. The plant gets very full, and is covered with double orange flowers.

Nice looking fifth wheel. Do you have propane onboard? Awesome guard dog!

Our Motorhome is 20 years old with 15k miles on it, very good condition and a perfect inside setup for us.

We are just now getting into vacationing as a couple instead of bunches of people after realizing that we never had before and it sure is relaxing.

This looks like our motorhome...

It's only 24' but has two large beds plus a small one if we convert the kitchen table, and bathtub, full kitchen, the whole 9 yards like a small home.

Your photo reminds me the suet feeders need to be filled.

There have been loads of red-bellied woodpecker fledglings hitting the feeders this summer.
