That is terrible but so cute, Lori. He’s looking as if to say “What do you expect when you go off having fun and leaving me here alone with Sissy?”

Yes! He was completely justified in what he did, in his little mind. And we never had a doubt it was Chachi and not Sissy who did the deed. Sissy would never throw a fit like that and destroy something. We call her our little orphan girl. She is just thrilled she has a family and gets to go at all.

Yes, we are having lots of fun getting together with friends and family on our "camp outs". And my husband loves his diesel "monster" truck, as he calls it. Now, he fits right in with the other hundred thousand people in our town who have big white gnarly pickups. Boys and their toys! LOL.

Morning, Polly!

We are arriving on the camping scene a little later than most people, and there definitely is a learning curve. We have made every mistake in the newbie camper's handbook, but we usually only make a mistake once and are learning as we go along. The last big one was forgetting to put the truck in "tow gear" as we were pulling the 7,000 ft climb up the mountains going to Lake Tahoe. We overheated and my husband is still beating himself up because he made such a dumb mistake.

Our little 5th wheel is on the smallish size, but when the slide is out, it feels nice and comfortable and has everything we need. I can't imagine pulling one of those humongous RV's, like our son has, down the road. We are plenty big enough. LOL

I do not regret for a minute that we made the investment. My concern was, since we aren't retired yet, we wouldn't be able to use it as often as we should and it would end up sitting in storage most of the year, but my husband is determined to take it somewhere for a long weekend every month. I am glad to see him finally taking some time off from the business after years and years of working six days a week.

If there is any chance you can get back into RVing, Polly, now is the time to do it. It's a buyer's market out there. We got such an incredible deal on ours that I almost feel guilty.......almost. ;-)

Have a good day!

Thank you, MEG. Yeah, Chachi is a cutie alright. Spoiled rotten, with an attitude that won't quit! LOL. But that is part of his character that we love.

Have a great day!

I make these easy donuts occasionally
But don't go to the trouble of making big donuts
With holes in the center.
I just open a can of biscuits (any brand),
Separate them into individual biscuits,
And cut into quarters with scissors.
Drop into hot oil.
No muss or fuss.
Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar while still hot.

Happy FRYday, Everyone!

They sound wonderful! I like the way you said you make them rather than the way they do! Its just easier and quicker and would taste the same. Wish I had some now!

I skipped right through your red and white petunias and they were too pretty to overlook.

A funny experience I had this season with red and white petunias. I bought red and white for 1 large planter and 2 smaller planters. The reds have been beautiful but all of the white ones withered up and died (except one). They must have been dying when I bought them because they were potted together! That one really buffaloed me! They all looked very healthy when I bought them....go figure! Think I still prefer impatients (red and white) over the petuniias.

Thank you, JC. I like your lady with the red, and flag, too!

Hope you are having a nice day. (If I had canned biscuits, I would make those ‘donut holes’ right now!) Instead, I am going to make sugared tortilla strips, to dip in cherry pie filling. Yummmmmm.

Meg and JC - Maybe you gals could help me - I have two pots by my front porch. One gets sun pretty much all day, and flowers bloom easily in it - the other gets no sun - and nothing seems to want to bloom in that one. You think impatiens would work?

Whatever I plant there, must be impervious to animals, as the wild pigs and deer love to eat my flowers. Thanks, ladies.

Impatiens like partial shade..I don’t know about all shade..I’ve never planted in a no sun at all spot. I read that Hostas do well in all shade. Mostly for the ornamental foliage...not for the flowers.

“We must never let go of that true gospel: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again for our justification, declaring us righteous before God (Rom. 4:25; 1 Cor. 15:3-4).

This alone offers the “power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Rom. 1:16). If we want to live for God, this is the only place to start.”
