I take ‘best looking’ to include under the hood.
My first car was a primer-gray 39’ Ford Coupe with a 48’ Merc. flathead, a four barrel, chrome heads and chrome gen. cover. I bought it for $250, (saved up from sacking food and mowing yards) and after I had it for a year, my father made me sell it to the first offer. $150. Two college kids about as happy as you could hope to see and one 17 year old not so happy.
It seems like recalling something you once read about. No bad feelings, just history.
I learned a lot from my father and am better for it, but after that, we didn’t get along as well as it could have been.
