And run around in ferry wings and wear lots of black makeup—both male and female alike.

More newspaper hogwash. Because most of the pagans **I** know are Asatru: they follow the Gods of the Norse Pantheon. Y’know: Odin, Thor, that bunch. And I met most of them in the Service, which actually isn’t surprising: Adherents to Warrior Religions tend to be Warriors themselves. Good people, and outstanding soldiers. . .

But every time someone mentions “pagans”, it’s always the “fluffy-bunny” tree-hugging Wiccans that get used as an example. . .

I don’t hold a brief for paganism, but I agree that the pagans of antiquity would scorn to be associated with this lot of simps.

Watch as this cities crime increases by double digits. You invite this kind of spiritual defilement and you will pay for it in the natural.

How do you know pagan belief is “spiritual defilement”?

What is your proof?

I’d like to learn.

I wouldn’t say I held a brief. . .but every single Asatru I’ve ever known laughed heartily and used the phrase “fluffy bunnies” whenever Wiccans were mentioned. . .

Bunch of wusses wanting to control events by playing gods and goddesses.

They can’t face reality as it is. They want to control and change it. Problem is, maybe their way isn’t the best way in the end. If they control the ‘fates’ it’s not going to be nearly as pretty as they think.

You might be a redneck wiccan if:

1) All your spells begin with “Hold muh brew ‘n watch this”.

2) You believe Stonehenge is actually the speakers located in Berl Bigguns’ basement.

3) Your Ritual feast is a cola and a ding-dong

4) Your chewing tobacco doubles as your incense

5) If your ceremonial garb consists of cut-offs and a tube top,

6) Or if your coven’s secret names for the God and Goddess are “Cooter” and “Sweet Cheeks”.....

7) If your circle dance includes the words “dosie-do”,

8) If the final words of the benediction are, “Y’all come back now!! Ya Hear?”

There are people that actually worship Norse gods like Thor and Odin? Yikes.

HAHAHA! Funny stuff.

Now in all fairness to pagans, and since it is Sunday, I posted a thread about a native Vermonter, proselytizing with his art, on swatted land.

Go figure.
