There was a movie out in 2007 about the "guy in the windshield" case. They turned the horrible story of the death of Gregory Biggs into a so called " black comedy"-and Chante Mallard was portrayed by blonde white actress Mena Suvari. The abomination is called Stuck.

There was also a (mercifully stalled) attempt to turn the Wichita Horror into entertainment. In an interview with the director, he said the film would be a serious account of all the victims-and his count of the victims made it plain he counted the two Carr brothers as victims too. Fortunately, that film appears to be quite dead-dead as the five humans murdered by the loathsome Carr brothers.

I am hopeful that this film will NOT follow these precedents.

Probably not (or we hope not).

Wow, I nearly forgot about that case. It WAS bizaar. I can’t believe they made a black comedy of something like that based on real life. I recall watching Really Bad Things (?), which was stomach turning. Moreso if it has been somewhat factual.
