Sunshine today! The Royal Terns are coming in in large flocks, ahead of cold weather. The Grackles were pleased to see me, as usual. The males are getting over their fear of me.
Grackles may be pests in urban areas, but around here they stay in the marshes and on the beach.
Thanks I can almost feel the wind and hear the breakers there. I like that place when I go up that far north.

One of my favorite places to go. We occasionally stay at a very nice little hotel right across A1A from the beach.
I remember one morning we got up very early to watch the sunrise from our balcony. It was enchanting!

Occasionally I get a seagull to come to my outstretched hand, but more often they swoop in from behind me and “grab and go”!
Friskies dry cat food, the natural diet of seagulls and grackles! They like French fries but the grease isn’t good for them, and I don’t want Michelle on my case!

I will have to think about buying some.
I have the tiny size dog food...is that good for them and would they like that? Not fish based as far as I can read on the label. (meat and vegetables...some grains)
