Geena Davis Shows Off Her New Mumsy Figure As She Takes Children To The Park
By Daily Mail Reporter 12th November 2009
She might be one of America's best-loved actresses, but Geena Davis seems more keen to spend time being a full-time mother to her three children.
The Thelma And Louise actress showed off a fuller figure and a huge smile as she played happily in the park with her young children.
Being a full-time mum: Geena Davis on the red carpet in 2000, and at a park in Santa Monica, California with her three children yesterday
The 53-year-old dressed casually in a green polo shirt, grey hoodie and jeans to push daughter Alizeh, seven, and five-year-old twin sons Kian and Kaiis on the swings.
After her ABC show Commander In Chief was cancelled after one season in 2006, the Oscar-winning actress seems to have kept her acting work to a minimum.
She has devoted herself to the children and husband of nine years, plastic surgeon Reza Jarrahy.
Wheeeeee: Geena has a laugh with her seven-year-old daughter Alizeh [Pic in URL]
But she is continuing her political activism. Next week she will speak in Detroit on behalf of the White House Project, a non-profit organisation aimed at promoting women in political positions.

Huh?
Not Guilty ==> Guilty
And I am just sure, that the Daily Mail Reporter (or his/her own ‘mumsie’) just looks ducky at 53.
Why is this news? Other than to rag on a woman (out enjoying a day with her kids in the park). Gee...damned if you do (be a hands on, no acting jobs kinda mom) or damned if you don’t (what if it was a ‘nanny’ playing with the kiddies?)
People age. They put on some weight as the years roll by. But lets make fun of people who look their age (what a shocking idea THAT is!!!)
Shame on the Daily Reporter...and those being cruel here. She is at a park playing with her children...NOT on the red carpet.
Give it a break folks.
I'll pass. No kids, 53, never married. Not good.
She looks really happy and relaxed. Probably glad that her Hollywood days are far behind her.
Indoor lighting w/a (no doubt) SWAT team of hair/make up/stylists...vs. at the park with young children, in harsh, natural light (and for what its worth) it looks like Davis ‘takes’ care of her skin (ie., its still pale, probably wears sunscreen daily, and hasn’t tannned herself into old leather status).
The tone of this thread is really, really bugging me. What did Geena Davis do (other than spell her name funny and become a ‘mom’) that warrants such an attack?
She’d look perfectly nice except for the expression ... and all of us should be grateful we don’t have someone following us around taking pictures when we have a dumb look on our faces!
Amen. The mean spirited paparazzi caught her making a funny face at one of her kids...the horrors!!! She probably even EATS meals with them...ha!!! Yes...deserving of a photo expose...how dare she eat, have fun with her family, and wear jeans and a hoodie!!!
(Yea!!! Mom reenforcements!!!)
Yes. I have no idea what her politics are...but she looks like a Hollywood rarity...a mom playing with her own kids.
Hope all is well with you and the family (haven’t seen you on FR in a while)...
There’s a 53-year-old woman in our church who’s a singer, and looks good every time I see her. A great friend. She says she is appreciative of what God has given her. I wish more women had that attitude.
Amen. She a mom having fun with her kids. I’m 50 and have an 8 and 6 yr old.
Any of you care to post your picture????
She looks like a happy mother. Her children could have worse.
Great movie. "Chefs do that!"
She was good in “Marat-DeSade” decades ago, but after that - forgetaboutit.
she’s still quite thin.........it’s the funny faces she is making to her kids and the lack of makeup. nothing wrong with that, she is out playing in a park with children, not strolling on a red carpet somewhere.
uh yeah, she is. Her favorite topic is “gender equality”.
