If you're using Vista, see if there are any updates available/pending to be installed. Everytime I've had something weird happen with Outlook, without a doubt, I had a new update pending and once I let it install and restart the problem was fixed.

The problem is that you’re still using Outlook Express. There are far better, and free, mail applications available.

The problem is that Outlook is not able to move your message from the outbox folder to the sent items folder.
There are a number of reasons why this could occur, depending on the configuration of your local computer and the type of email server that you are using.
Posting to FR is not really a good way to try to resolve this problem. You need a tech support person that can inspect your computer and your Outlook Express configuration and figure out what is going on.
