Gee! What a conflicted country. /s
Oh, I know what's happening. Those de facto coup makers have 99% of the country scared to stand up and say they support Mad Mel. Yeah, that's it. Oh the huge manatee! When will democracy return to Honduras? /s10
Thank God.
Obot Zelaya goes down. :-)
Obumbo: Well, we all know what a popular leader Zelaya is.
C’mon Venezuela, you’re next.
Enhorabuena!!!!
If I were the Heritage Foundation or some other think tank in D.C., or the Republican Campaign Committee, I would have several researchers immediately down there to Tegucigapla as guests of the Honduran Government for three weeks writing a detailed timeline, plan, analyses of strategy, reaction of the people, marketing and branding of the successful presidential election, the whole nine yards to learn from little Honduras as a way to apply this to our own increasingly dire situation under the phoney, President Patrice Lumumba Obongo.
Oh, the irony.
Obama went into power saying that America on the global stage talked too much, and that he was going to respect and listen to smaller nations much more intently. Here is a beautiful chance to go and interview a "small country" and see exactly what they did to restore democracy and freedom from an attempted Bolivarian Socialist takeover. Indeed, a David took down an alliance of regional Goliaths who all ganged up on it.
The cast of players were brilliant. From the Supreme Court. To the National Assembly. To within Zelaya's own party and opposition (Conservative Parties). To the Catholic and Protestant Clergy. To Honduran Veterans Organizations who turned out guys in their 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, who said "no way this Republic is going to the Communists. Over my dead body." To the National Armed Forces. To the aircraft control tower operators at Tocontin Airport preventing Mel from Returning. To the Honduran media outlets.
These are all organs of power we may in fact need in this country if push comes to shove and they try to steal our Republic. A lot of us just won't put up with it, and little Honduras INSTRUCTS, if not EMBOLDENS US ALL!!
Thank GOD!!! Great day for Democracy!!

BRAVO to Honduras!........and our “state” dept belongs upside-down in a jar of urine!
So have they demanded a recount yet? LOL!
Congratulations to every Honduran citizen who stood firm against the arrogance of the "international community."
