Here is an interesting video report on seven-year-old British prodigy Kieron Williamson, a young painter being compared to Picasso. He only began painting at age six, but his work is already drawing the rarified comparisons, and people from all over the world are paying a thousand dollars to own a painting by him.
As for his view on his paintings, Williamson said he has no favorite because "they are all good." . . . (VIDEO)

My artwork was too, but not in a good way. The comparisons stopped when I learned to put both eyes on the front of the head.
Wow! He’s the real deal. Gorgeous work.
His stuff is way better than Picasso’s!
So he doesn't bathe and beats up women?
I agree!
Yes.
For a seven year old, his perspective and color use is excellent. Picasso might not be the best comparison, as he’s much more of a traditional painter. I doubt any of the Wyeth’s were much better at age seven.
Picasso created sh!t and he’d be the first to tell you it was sh!t. It was NOT art.
Blows nose in napkin...signs and hands it to waiter. I’m Picasso!
(warning: obscure SNL reference)
Not Picasso!
This kid’s paintings are discernable and relate to real world images.
Not a bunch of abstract crap....
I think Pisarro would be a better point of comparison for this child’s work.
He has an amazing eye and an even more amazing hand. It would be good to let him develop without offering him formal training, letting him teach himself, until he is secure in his own skill and style that no instructor could alter his style.
On the other hand, you can’t assume that because someone has great skill at an early age that this is their baseline and they’re going to continue to improve and grow forever, as Mozart did. I know artists who seemed to be prodigies at an early age, and they got a little better through the years but never turned into magnificent artists; they just had all the wiring in place early but didn’t build on it. Developing a young talent like this is a delicate process.
Really like that 3rd picture. Terrific construction. This guy is going places.
Of course he will never amount to anything in the British art world until he starts daubing canvases with his own excrement.
Let’s see what he’s doing 10, 15 or 20 years from now.
Really, he's quite talented. I just had to use this post as an excuse to link to that amusing article.
“I got the urge to create!” (smashes violin)
SO beautiful! I would buy his artwork...wow I am so impressed at the talent....
What a sweet boy too - his family seems so normal/nice.
