Barack Obama once again proved he has a tin ear for politics when he did NOT visit Rush Limbaugh in the hospital. With his low approval ratings, Obama could have done himself a lot of good by visiting Rush who was nearby in the Hawaiian hospital. Too late now. Obama missed a great opportunity to help himself. This just demonstrates his poor ability at politics at even a personal level.
I am beginning to suspect that Obama's mugging by reality in the last few weeks (Christmas terrorist attack, etc) is going to devolve into something more akin to a head-on-collision with the freight train of reality.

Your theory would have been good if this were traditional American politics. But zer0 has no intention of bridging any gaps or uniting people. His marxist agenda requires only that the US fails and conservatives (anybody to the political right of The One himself) be squashed and silenced.
He doesn’t care about his approval ratings. His focus is on destroying capitalism and redistribution of wealth. This has to be done before the 2010 elections, which will be a difficult win for conservatives with ACORN, billions of $’s of advantage for dems due to “stimulous” funds, Soros, MSM etc.
Your graphs show a large portion that “never heard of” Rush of which 90% would be liars.

Instapundit pointed this out earlier as well. If Obama had privately visited Rush in the hospital, many conservative political news junkies would have to pause today and reexamine their whole understanding of who Obama is. But as it is, we can read accounts about Obama’s seclusion during his vacation instead, and about his venturing out for shave ice (a flavor named for him, too) with his daughters.
If you think Obama and his crew are nasty by what you can see you'd be stunned at how they are behind closed doors. They want nothing more than Limbaugh and every other American patriot dead dead dead.
These particular kind of so-called Democrats are like any third world bananna republic type you might run across. They are little monsters. Very dangerous psychopaths. Their goal is to take all wealth and all power. They are G-dless little urchins hell bent on agendas we could never relate to. No freedom loving person can understand Obama and Company. Especially freedom loving Christians. Who simply are not wired with the marxist/communist/socialist/islamist mentality. Note that I add Islam right up there with marxists, etc. Islam is primarily a socio-policital construct. Not a religion. Most of its followers do not grasp that. But Obama does. He is a moslem.
So, to think Obama would visit Rush Limbaugh is laughable. He wants Rush dead.
Better yet, Obama goes to Limbaugh and gives him one of his famous bows.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Most Americans are poorly informed and non-political. Many can not even name the VP of the US.
If BO visits Rush, it humanizes Rush, and that can’t be permitted. That is inconsistent with the liberal approach to such things. They don’t want those who disagree with them to be perceived as valuable humans. That would blow the whole approach to attacking conservatives.
Besides, nothing Obama can do will endear him to thoughtful conservatives anyway. Politically, such a visit would serve no purpose, and Obama is all about politics (and the power he can derive from it).
