The state and federal DNR will now be charging the officer with shooting an endangered cougar.
I would love for government to feel how it is to be on the receiving end of government.

One of my sons lives in Steamboat Springs, CO. To paraphrase Mr. T., I pity the bar that tries to get to my son, his Jack Russell terrier will kill that bar!

PING!!!
This is why dogs deserve our utmost respect and love. If that were my pup, he’d be living on filet mignon for the rest of his life. Wow.

Exactly how my big male tuxedo cat was with my son from day one.
When that cat died at the age of 15, there was some serious crying here.

Beautiful pic. A kitty will stand-up for you too, but they have to like you a lot.

An RCMP officer shot the cougar dead. Jan. 3, 2010. (RCMP handout)
...Angel, who had been at Austin's side, engaged the cougar, which was slightly larger than Angel ... RCMP Const. Chad Gravelle was nearby and was on scene within a minute.
The officer found the cougar under the back porch and heard the dog cry out as the cougar chewed on his neck, police said.
The officer fired two rounds into the cougar's rear end, but the cougar continued its attack.
The officer closed in to within five feet and shot the cougar again, killing it.
Even after it was killed, the cougar's jaws were clenched on Angel's face, Forman said.
Angel was silent for a few moments but then took in a big gasp of air and got up.
...Forman said before the attack, Austin had come into the house to tell the family how cute it was that Angel had been following him around.
"She must've known something was up," Forman said
Last week, when Angel was frolicking in the snow, family members called her a "snow angel," Forman said.
"Now, she's our guardian angel."

When gunpowder speaks, beasts listen.
Unfortunately, the Canadians voted to outlaw sidearms.
Sooo - let ‘em be cat scat.

I trapped the cat about 10 yrs ago and tamed them. The cats follow her around, she gives them attention, whether by hitting them or grabbing them.. The other pets have issues with the new pet..

Could you please tell us what the gun laws, for shotguns, rifles and handguns are over there in Canada?
Us people down here in the States think that they are illegal in Canada. If we are mistaken, can you please correct us?
