Tough Swedish model Elin Nordegren revealed to friends how she extracted dear revenge when they asked what the shamed golfing superstar had given her for Christmas. . .
She coolly declared: "Three hundred million dollars, thank you very much!"
Just two weeks ago we revealed how Elin vowed to drive Woods out of her life with divorce and a 50 per cent slice of his $600 million (£370m) fortune. Now it looks like she got her way AND piled on the agony by:

Admittedly we are all just guessing here - but I think the sheer number of women he is linked to shows a much deeper psychological problem with Tiger - this isn’t about marriage vows or sex, this is a serious emotional problem and it might even be worse than what we do know. I’m not sure it is wrong of Elin to keep the children away from him - they need to figure how what is wrong with him and not just accept this as a sex addiction or affairs.
$300 million to Congress is chump change. Those idiots did not major in mathematics. In fact, I wonder if they even now the difference between $300 and $300 billion. Based on the insanity and idiocy we have seen over the last few decades, I am pretty sure they do not. It is the Club of Corruption.

On her side - she appears to have been a faithful wife and a good mother. He obviously cheated on her multiple times and humiliated her on a global scale.
On his side he has Nike, a team of very good attorneys, an agent, loads of sychophantic and drooling fans plus a lap dogs sports media, etc etc. The balance of power is in his favor.
I do not blame her for playing hardball. His kids? Where was he when he was screwing hookers in Vegas, his own bead, the church parking lot, hotels rooms etc etc. Where were his kids? Why was he not with his kids instead of screwing hookers?

My guess is that she stays around and they live apart for $300 million for the next 5 to 10 years. If they can make the fake marriage look semi real then he can make a lot of money and he gets his reputation back somewhat.

I’d say the only one in the relationship who has engaged in violence is the wife. Everyone thinks it’s so funny or justified that she almost killed him.
If adultery is wrong, so is attempted murder. Maybe the kids shouldn’t be with the one who almost killed dad.

Been there and have had it done to me. Ironically the actions destroyed the relationship between my son and his mom. I got custody when he turned 12. Tiger deserves an ass kicking from his wife. If she had an ounce of decency, she would not use the children as a weapon in the fight.

I have no need to decide who should raise Tiger Woods’ children. Also have no need to take sides on taking his money, which unless I missed something, he earned every penny of.
Too many people here think he should be maimed, impoverished and now he should lose his children. And all this of course is to be accomplished through lawyers and the courts. He should not have afffairs, but the rest is not conservative thinking.

You obviously look at it from another angle - fine - but please don't assume my view isn't conservative. I never said he should be living on a street corner begging for money - he earned the money but she is his wife and mother of his children - just as many women are stay at home moms - their job was to raise the children and provide a home for them, as a family. Sure Elin has a little easier time of that with the wealth - I don't have servants and nannys - but my job involves making everything run in this household so my husband can relax when he is not working - he doesn't view his income as his - it is ours.
We will see how this all plays out - I don't think Tiger's career is over - but his reputation will never be the same. He will get to see his kids, when he can fit them in between bimbos.

If a pretty blond white chick was laying on the ground beaten and bloodied with a black man standing over her with a golf club, and telling some story about breaking a window to get her out, while she’s bleeding from a head wound that just happens to match the 9 iron in your hand... you think he wouldn’t have been cuffed and in the back of a squad car inside of 0 minutes?
Please. There is no doubt in my mind what she was using that golf club for and why Tiger tried to get away from it.
Tiger is a louse, but the idea this woman is a saint is laughable. She was clearly wronged and humiliated but she also is well known for her temper and their fights, long before this incident.
Emotional Harm? What emotional harm, these kids are too young to know anything more than mommy is mad at daddy, and that’s at best what the older of the two MIGHT be able to grasp, beyond that, they were not emotionally harmed.
Now, keeping them from seeing their father out of petty anger and spite, that is emotionally wrong. Like it or not, he is their father, and in spite of how much of a horndog and louse you or I or anyone else may find Tiger to be accusing him of emotional abuse of his kids is rediculous.
The biggest losers in nearly every divorce are the kids, and clearly these two are going to be nothing but pawns in this game and its despicable and wrong for her to do that, no matter how wronged she may feel.
If a man treats his wife the way he has, how does he treat his children?

I agree. While not excusing Tiger’s behavior. I find it curious that there are always numerous posts about Tiger’s mental health and never a word about the mental health of someone who would get so violent as to cause so much physical damage to someone. Sounds like a lot of toxicity on both sides.

I’m all for the value of stay at home moms. In this case, she’s very rich and even the “paltry” millions she would get under the prenup would make her wealthy, along with huge child support.
And if they do divorce, do you think she’s going to marry a truck driver next time? You’ve seen her, plus she’s famous and was married to a billiuonaire. I think she’s going to do quite well for herself.
If she hadn’t gotten physical, she would deserve only sympathy for what we know about this situation. I really don’t like the attitude that physical violence bya woman is ok if she was wronged.
When this type of “heat of passion” defense was accepted, it was used by jealous husbands who shot their wives. No one should be in favor of bringing that back. Your husband cheats on you, divorce him or work it out. You don’t get a freebie physical assault.
