As I have read through the posts I keep nodding my head and saying "Oh yeah! I LOVE her!" It's nice to see the diversity of artists and there haven't been any bad choices that I have seen so far.

One of the names that I have yet to see (I may have missed it) is Dinah Shore and another would be Pearl Bailey. A couple that I can't believe I let off my list were Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn.

Last night on Bet Honor Show, Jennifer Hudson joined the pantheon of singers with this outstanding rendition of I Will Always Love You.

Ironically she came from American Idol where they say Don't sing Whitney, Stevie or Michael because it will show your shortcomings. Last night she nailed it. Added to her performance of I'm Gonna Love You from Dreamgirls, it's clear she has the pipes to be near the top.

LOL! She is a mess... last I heard she has become some kind of druid priestess. The thing is though, I never saw anyone look better with a shaved head! God gave her an incredible voice and stunning looks.

I got a new huge plasma and a great speaker system (ZVOX) recently and got stuck on the grammys the other night (which I've never watched in my life) due to the sight and sound - some real crazy people in that room! I guess a lot of the artsy crowd are operating on another planet... but what talent!

As far as vocals go, Karen Carpenter could out-sing anyone. I defy someone to find a better vocalist.
