It is time again to start making plans to attend the Annual TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot. Come join us to celebrate the memory this fine Texas gentlemen.
The 5th Annual TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot will be held June 12, 2010, starting at 10:00 a.m. Our range choice this year is Dietz Gun Range, 421 Range Road, New Braunfels. The cost per person will be $10.00 The Dietz Range is where TexasCowboy hosted one of his shoots in 2003.
This year the after party for the shoot will be held at the range. They have a large canopy with picnic benches underneath for us to hang out. The range does not have any items to cook food with, so we are asking that those who are able, to bring along a cooker. Everyone else please bring a side dish or appetizer. Adult beverages are allowed under the canopy (this does not need to be said but I am going to say in anyway – they are not to be opened until all weapons have been cased).
cpdiii has agreed to be our host this year. He will bring, and cook, steaks and shrimp Creole for everyone. I am really looking forward to eating the Creole!
At this time no plans have been made for the Friday evening dinner or Saturday morning breakfast get together. Allegra & I have volunteered to make the sacrifice of a road trip to check out places to eat. One line of thought for dinner is to eat at a German restaurant.

Maybe we should reserve judgment until we look him over. After all, he IS a Yankee. ;-)
Put them in touch with the other northerners who have come before. They might persuade them more readily than us rednecks.

There is no rhyme or reason as to the date on the shoots. We have had two in May, one in April and one in October.
Tell TheGirl that we already have yankees down here and they haven’t shot me (yet).
Come to Texas, even dang yankees are welcome.
It's official, just bought the plane tickets. Andrew and I are going to the shooting range in New Braunfels in June. :)

That’s good news, Mom. As much as I wanted ours to move out, it always does my heart good when they come back for a visit.
And this is a very special time to visit, right?
Doggone it! That’s the last day of the State Republican Convention!!!! For everyone who will be in town on Sunday, could we arrange for a breakfast/brunch/or lunch?
