It is time again to start making plans to attend the Annual TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot. Come join us to celebrate the memory this fine Texas gentlemen.
The 5th Annual TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot will be held June 12, 2010, starting at 10:00 a.m. Our range choice this year is Dietz Gun Range, 421 Range Road, New Braunfels. The cost per person will be $10.00 The Dietz Range is where TexasCowboy hosted one of his shoots in 2003.
This year the after party for the shoot will be held at the range. They have a large canopy with picnic benches underneath for us to hang out. The range does not have any items to cook food with, so we are asking that those who are able, to bring along a cooker. Everyone else please bring a side dish or appetizer. Adult beverages are allowed under the canopy (this does not need to be said but I am going to say in anyway they are not to be opened until all weapons have been cased).
cpdiii has agreed to be our host this year. He will bring, and cook, steaks and shrimp Creole for everyone. I am really looking forward to eating the Creole!
At this time no plans have been made for the Friday evening dinner or Saturday morning breakfast get together. Allegra & I have volunteered to make the sacrifice of a road trip to check out places to eat. One line of thought for dinner is to eat at a German restaurant.
Stay tuned for more info . . .

Oh I hadnt asked them about it.
He will be fine.
He hasnt hardly wanted to be in the house for days.
I only worry about the storms.
He will have plenty of food and water
The knucklehead is snarfling down at the moment
Good Pookie!
He’s back to his usual self.
All better
Glad ta hear it!
It was quite a trial.
Thanks for helping me when he was sick
Assholes done with me LoL He wants out already LoL
Woof Woof!
Gnight
I'll miss y'all, too. I'll be there in spirit. Have a cold one or six for me. :)
I know....I have procrastinated this time!
*grin*
I need to get a head count for (1) Friday night dinner at Friesenhause; (2) Saturday morning breakfast at Red Rooster; (3) those attending the shoot; and (4) Sunday brunch with hocndoc.
Friday night dinner will be at 7:00; Saturday morning breakfast will be at 8:30 both reservations will be under the name TexasCowboy. Don't have the details yet for the Sunday brunch - hocndoc will post the details prior to the shoot. After the shoot cpdiii has graciously volunteered to feed all of us (can't wait for the creole), then a number of us will head to our hotel, Red Roof Inn, for a few adult beverages and good ole fun.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
I won’t make it, am posting to see if anyone is attending the Party in the Pines motorcycle rally this weekend?
(Sniff!) You know my answer. Oh, I could murder some of those apple pancakes right now...
Zero from our house this year due to scheduling.
Next year...
I hate to say this but it looks like I am still on the maybe list:-)
One of my co-workers had a serious medical emergency a couple weekend ago and it looks like I will need to work:-( I probably won’t know until about June 1 or so.
I am seriously bummed out about this and one of our schedulers is pulling out what is left of his hair trying to figure out how to get 20 folks to cover 25 slots.
Will have a definite answer by the first of June or so
Regards

Should I ship the salsa to the Red Rood Inn?
Hap and I are planning to attend the shoot, but won’t make any of the meals except the one immediately after.
I don’t know about the Friday dinner but I think I’m good for everything else.
Is mylife gonna bring some tannerite, or do they allow that stuff? Anything in particular you might want some folks to bring along such as range supplies, beverages, snacks, tow ropes, etc.
