My daughter tells me that most of the pizza places in Brooklyn are owned by Mexicans now.

She comes down here to get good pizza...our pizza guy is from Brooklyn (Ridgewood) and makes it the old way.

I remember pizza at 35 cents a slice back in Brooklyn in the mid sixties, the chasm these communist monsters have imposed on the nation since then is mind boggling.

To win the cold war abroad only to surrender to the domestic marxists without a fight, that is the shame of this generation.

Hard times coming strong.

I went into Aunt Butchie’s (Bay Ridge) to buy a cake, and every single one of the workers behind the counter were Mexican.

I asked the owner later why there were no italian kids working there, as there used to be, and she said kids don’t want to work anymore...they just want to watch TV or surf the internet.

It was sad to see.

I do know cases of Mexicans pooling their resources to buy pizza joints. In many cases, however, Pakis/Arabs/Chinese buy the pizzerias and staff them with Mexicans. Even back in teh 1970s and 1980s, many pizzerias in NYC were owned by Greeks and Albanians.

Don't get me started on the Halal Pizza/Chicken joints that are all over the outer boroughs these days. Yeech!

There are probably more "old school New Yorkers" (especially Italians) in Florida or the Jersey Shore area these days. The biggest migrant group moving to Brooklyn these days being Chad and Heather just out of Amherst or Berkeley.
