You probably already do this, but I take down all of the illegal “bandit” signs I can find trashing up the landscape and turning my area in Tijuana. They are quality made of that corrogated plastic, with printed ads, and steel “H” legs. Perfect targets, for free! Corners of printed letters make perfect aiming marks.

I think other people beat me to it! But I’m going to start keeping my eyes out for those type signs. :-)

After every election you can pick up a year’s supply.

I ran across a story a while back that a guy told about his wife’s shooting.

She was shooting (with a good rifle/scope) at a paper target, and noticed, through the scope, a fly wandering around the target.

So, for something different, she shot the fly.

They’ve got the target framed at home, with fly remnants spattered around the bullet hole.

Were you shooting the AR-15 with a .22 insert? Because I have never shot an M16 (AR-15) that DID jam - and I spent several years toting one.

Excellent idea! I belong to the Colorado Rifle Club. It is a great gun range but run by rather liberal people. I can only imagine their shock and horror seeing their liberal yards signs being used as fantastic targets. They’d probably tell me the plastic is not biodegradable and therefore not allowed within the soil conservation district. I think I’d take them all and post them at the corner of the road leading into the range property then call the original owners and tell them the gun range is banning them due to the soil conservation thing and watch the fur fly.

Those plastic corrogated signs take a hell of a lot of shooting!

We had a gal that made them target sized about 2x3 feet. They are fantastic to pin paper to. No staples, just straight push pins. They made her quit doing it. The plastic wasn’t allowed. The range is within a BLM soil conservation district.

I don’t know why they would object. The bullets just make little holes in the plastic, which nearly self-seals.

They are terrific targets, because the sharp “vector file” printing makes perfect corners on all parts of the letters. You can choose from a huge number of clear, defined aiming points.
