SOUTH BEACH, Fla.- A Florida hotel's search for a "tanning butler," a man who applies lotion to sunbathing hotel guests , resulted in only three applicants, officials said.
The Ritz-Carlton South Beach announced a "casting call" for the position, which was invented about seven years ago, but only three men turned up to apply for the position Tuesday, despite national media reports about the search, The Miami Herald reported Wednesday.
"Finding a tanning butler is hard," hotel publicist Michelle Payer said.
She said the hotel has lost two previous tanning butlers to Armani modeling campaigns.
Paylor said the hotel will continue searching for the right person to fill the job.
Seems like more of a Valet kind of job.
Obviously, many men would rather starve than be harassed by fags and hags.

Most clients are female so i’m not sure a queer would like buttering up a 60 year old prune.
I am not a huge fan of tanning, but you know what, I have been in those beds before and they just don’t seem to do anything for me. I lay in their bored out of my mind for 10-15 minutes and come out with some artificial orange looking tan. On top of that, during summer months, I’ll go out and get my natural tan but I don’t need to make me skin look at all leathery to be attractive… It’s gross. I find women who have leathery orange-ish skin just hideous. Shows that - even in South FL - MOST people would prefer staying on welfare, watching TV and drinking and surfing porn on the government’s money than go to a hotel and simply APPLY to rub tanning oil on (potentially/probably ugly!) people.
Now, this is a “zero-qualification” job. Regardless of previous training, job skills, or race, ANYBODY with two hands can do this job. Therefore, the FL government should stop all jobless claims in South Beach until every such job if filled ...
