Well truth be told Amy, eagle season can really do a number on a eagle-watcher's house! lol.. Laundry? ...that's a daily given here too! Doing dishes is also a given..sigh!

Amy, you posted a lot of pretty graphics today...I loved mine very much! That takes a lot of time. I appreciate all you do, Amy! Tomorrow you won't have to do so many! I still have that aching but I don't think its quite as bad, even though I have had an Aleve and 1 pain pill today. I'm not on top but a bit better I believe! Hope you have a lovely evening too!!

I enjoyed this guitar music by this Englishman, Peter John Baily. His music is easy listening to me. Thanks, Johnn!!

I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith.

Black Watch Piper

The Soldier

If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is forever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware,
Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam;
A body of England's, breathing English air,
Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home.
And think, this heart, all evil shed away,
A pulse in the eternal mind, no less
Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given;
Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day;
And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness,
In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

I know Kitty. It’s nice to have the time to post, but I know it won’t last long. Have a couple of things coming up the second week in June that will take up some of my time. It’s good to read your sweet words. They always comfort me. Hugs.

Speaking of doing dishes, polly, I have gone back to washing my dishes by hand. I have a dish washer but I don’t like the residue it leaves on the dishes, and it also scratches the glassware. The dishes are looking cleaner already and just think of the electric and water I’m saving. Besides, I don’t mind washing dishes. It’s a small price to pay to have hubby doing the cooking. I HATE TO COOK!!!

Oh, Nan! What a blessing - to have a hubby like you have!
Are you SURE he wants you to do dishes by hand?
I am sure he would be glad to turn on the dishwasher for you!

Oh WVNan, I hear you on doing dishes by hand. For the most part we did them all by hand for over a year for that very reason!

Then grandson came to live with us and our adopted 19 year old daughter started college...so we went back to the " grimmey" dishes! LOLOL

Nope. He doesn’t do the cleanup. He only cooks. I don’t cook, but gladly do the cleanup. It’s worked out fine so far for 44 years.
