I’d look at them but the weight could crash my desk.

Looks like that’s two more businesses just went out of business. One “fish and chips” and one “fried chicken” restaurant.

The Insurance Company should have discontinued treatment due to her suicidal behavior. Not insurance in this case, this was all under the watch of the UK's National Health Service.

Look at the bright side.
The 2nd fattest woman in England just got a promotion!

You can do a lot worse than dying in the midst of a loving family. My no account outfit wouldn't smuggle me a thing and two months of green hospital jello will kill anybody.
None of us are going to get out of here alive. Eat while you can, nobody can tell me whether there is fried chicken in heaven. I bet there will be no delicious fish and chips in heck.

Very sad. That kind of obesity and food addiction is in the realm of psychiatry. However, she did die eating what she loved. There are worse ways to go, like the lady who fell into the tomato vat posted a while back.

farthings in a stone If you can detect a stone, it is probably not just a farthing.

No difference in this and bringing in a case of scotch to someone in rehab.

How many shillings and farthings in a stone? Not sure....I shall have to take the lift to the ground floor and stand in the queue to find out. If they don't know, I'll get on my mobile or maybe look in the boot of my car. If the mobile is spotty, I shall have to use the phone box.

Well, maybe it was time for her second mid-morning snack.
What? Doesn't everyone have family-sized buckets of fried chicken for their second mid-morning snack?

When a person is that fat, it’s got to be something of a medical challenge just to stabilize her and then try to gradually reduce her weight. Idiotic relatives sneaking in truckloads of grease cannot make the job any easier.

Private Insurance or NHS should not be made responsible to pay the medical treatment for a person that who cares nothing for their own health and is suicidal.

Exactly right.
When the person is too fat to get out of bed or fit out of the bedroom you MIGHT think it would be a wake up call for the person to take in less calories; but it seems the only lifestyle change that most are willing to subject the poor dear to is that NOW they take their gross greasy highly processed high sugar high salt diet IN BED, rather than out of bed.

And lets add too that - the taxpayers in Britain paid for this woman’s medical care - the self-inflicted results of her choices to continue to eat like an idiot.

LOL!
(Sorry. I know it's a sad story.)
To: petercooper
This should either be ruled a suicide (family thus implicated for assisting it), or ruled a homicide - as the family clearly are directly responsible.
That being said, the Brit medical system is probably glad to get this leech off the public medical system...
